Can't seems to find the problems with the vibrations... Have to wait for his Termis to come first, seems like the original muffler problems...

Ha, back then when you track my 748 at PG, got this problem on my bike? Mine stock full system, stock Lacing ECU, what else? Nothing was change on exhaust system, all stock bone standard on my bike.

Hey, dun like that leh....I was kindda taken aback when I was inform that MV Agusta is a great bike but had to change exhaust, change Eprom, put PCIII to solve the stock "surging" problems when you get the bike new  I expect MV to be like a Duc, good right off the package.

:faint: Duc now also start to have this problem?

:cheeky:

I hope you meant to say there's a problem with his stock exhaust system (only on his bike) that's why it's causing the vibrations.....if so, time to get warranty from Ducati Dealership of Singapore :thumb:

i once thought there is something very serious with my bike, the respone was very jerky and the bike sounds very funny. and after all the checks i found that it was just wore clutch plates cos only happens at lower gears. so when ever sometime happens to your duke, check the wear and tear parts first, and also the connection. so far the engine has been very reliable. no complains on that.

my rectifier lasted me 4 yrs batt abt 3.

KNS, you toking about the Monster or the 998? Cuz dun think you own the 998 for 4 yrs and "suddenly" remember you are the lucky ba5tard with 2 Ducs.... Seen you too often in tracks rather than the road, so memory forbids me to picture Monster when I think of you, ha. And the funky sidestand too, which, sadly, you had to change quite "unwillingly", oops.

Got a new suit? Must be "Danny" right? Lol....

Hi,

any guys who pay bikeshops to help u send your bike for the annual vehicle inspection? Please advise shop name and fees, if possible.

Quite a hassle to swop my full system for the stock one, thus looking for shops that provide this service.

Was charged 40-50bucks the last time round..

My 916 couldn't start again on Sat night. Same problems and symptoms. Left in the car park over night, came back on Sunday afternoon and well, it could start again. Really dunno what's wrong...

I encountered similar problems before as well. Changed my starter solenoid and problem solved.

Relay thingy i tried already when it failed to start the 1st time.

Checked fuse, tightened everything i can see including the relay but to no avail.

The 2nd time it failed to start, i just leave my 916 overnight, nvr check or tighten anything, next day afternoon came back to collect my bike, can start liaoz.

Maybe my 916 having her period, PMS... sianzzzz.

Firstly, bike was not holding charge very well..minerva said its the coil, not the rectifier.

Soon after, the crank was getting weaker.. and there were incident whereby i tried to crank but was too weak to start and although i off the ignition, the bike was still trying to crank on its own.

Mike had checked and its the starter solenid (pardon my spelling). Had since changed a new one and problem solved. regarding the weak holding charge, he checked out the coil and said its just the rectifier problem and not the coil. Had since changed a new rectifier as well.

costs me 400bucks :(

went for a short ride yesterday night..seems fine! :)

He went to Kallang Cycle. Too bad my voodoo method could not help  Rectifier cost $280 the last time I changed one, if I remember correctly, not includsive of labour. So $400 is for rectifier and also the starter solenoid.

Hi,

Anyone got any good websites online to recommend to buy tank pads?

I want to have more options besides Minerva.

Thanks!

yap.. it costs $80, not inclusive of labour.

$80 for the starter solenoid alone?

Thought it costs a few hundred?

:faint: $400 is the Solenoid plus Rectifier plus labour. Rectifier expenisive.
