Anyone selling or knows where to get a paddock stand for single swing arm?

(other than Ebay of course.)

Also, anyone knows if it is possible to use a normal paddock stand if I insert a shaft through the center hole of the wheel....

I put a motivation rear axle slider on, you can then use a normal stand.

It depends what you wanna do with the paddock stand. If its just for temporary work, the the normal stand will do if you have sliders. If you wanna use it like a main stand for storage to raise the rear wheel off the ground using the wheel hub.,(also not recommended but I do it.) The single swingarm version is the right one. Got mine at motoworld. Just a warning, its not cheap.

Does anyone know which shops in S'pore to order/buy fairings/bodywork besides Minerva and eBay?

i've got some for sale. are u looking for stock ones or?

beware of cheap carbon stuff. they turn yellow etc after a while. its worth paying a lil more for better quality carbon. check out quality b4 ordering. eg u see some of the cheap stuff from china, BIG BIG diff from the high quality DP stuff. if ur duke is so ex and exotic, do u want cheap looking stuff on it?!?

Hi All,

Doing a few searches for Race Fairings, does anyone have any personal recommendations? so far I've seen

Sharskinz, hotbodies seem around $600 USD? (+plus shipping)

Chinese ones on ebay in ABS plastic? approx $600-700 USD

full carbon $2000+

Minerva do one for $1500, not sure what Brand? Ducati?

Any local suppliers/stockists that anyone is aware of and can recommend?

Cheers

Alright Man!!!! Hurry up!!! I'm waiting.....

Head lights mounted (no low beam) with custom bracket. Now doing the cut-out on the fairing. Very difficult. Been mounting and dismounting 3 times liao, just to get the position right. It's back to the car park tomorrow night for last adjustments and positioning.

since we're on the topic on "quality carbon fiber"... this is my experience...

good quality ones-damn hard to cut/file/drill/sandpaper/saw

cheap ones (not necessary bad looking)-easy by miles

e.g.: new drill bit-4 holes and it's blunt!!! can still use but harder to penetrate.

so far i've gone through 5 drill bits(same size), 3 round hand files, 1 sheet metal cutter, 1 stack of sand paper, 4 saw blades. and still not completed yet!!!

By the end of the project I'll have some spare fairing pieces which I'll put on sale. By no means inferior but i've chosen others in term of the "look" i'm trying to achieve.

Items for sale

Ohlins rear shock spring 7.5 kg(mint)

Showa Fork w lower triple(used)

Stock FULL fairing 998s(used) w MS Prod Carbon Street Belly-pan

MS prod Carbon 998R tail fairing (used-DP#96938402B)

Bestem carbon belt (testastretta engine)

Ducati Corsa Screen-fabbri (new)

Oil Cooler (mint-#548.039.1A)

More parts than I can list here (mostly for 916 series)

(PM me for details)

The ones ducati uses are from MS Production. So far they have the highest resale value. Best when you're replacing the air box and other interior plastics.
