I think you have dug out old news.... Rossi has a contract signed till end of 2010. 2011 maybe... but I think he wuold prefer driving for Ferrari F1 than riding for Ducati.

Basically anywhere or everywhere. Minerva only for engine.

I suppose any mechanic can touch your bike provided they have their tools off the hands.

 

As for service, each and own preference I suppose.

I'll choose these and places:

 

HLK - DynoJet section and not the other workshop

BikeWorkz - Ah Beng only But he'll be very busy

Kallang Cycle - Michael Chong

 

heard from the ducati monster guys frequent a place at UBI. The mech is call Raymond. I never visited and never used before so can't comment.

I had a look and got a pric for them but still to expensive? not sure how they'd go round town, would they be more prone to damage?

Thanks for the input for the servicing options. Guess I'll go with HKL. Glad to be back on a twin. Sold my S2R1k looking for more top-end/cornering thrills, I lasted 3 months on a I-4, 2008 cbr600rr. Great bike but so not a twin. No offence to inline 4s, totally reliable and huge powerband but it was not for me.

 

Sold the RR and picked up the 1098 in a heartbeat, and boy I missed that stupid grin on the face and yelling in the helmet.
