Hi 848/1098/1198 riders.

I got condensation/fogging in my instrument panel and headlight on my way to PG one morning. Is that normal? Anyone replaced under warranty and got the problem fixed? Or is it something thats normal.....and we should just live with it?

According some other forums, this does not get fixed even with replacement. So just trying to poll you folks for your feedback.

Many Thanks.

Hi, its a common problem.

one way to get rid of the headlight condensation is to remove the 2 black plastic cover behind the headlight. The one where you access to light bulb change. Ride it for a while to generate enough heat to evaporate the condensation. You will notice the condensation disappear. Then put back the cover. However overtime you will still get the condensation if you ride on rainy days and etc. Hope you will find this tip useful.

As for the meter, there is nothing you can do about it.:-)

cheers n happy riding.

Thanks for the tip but if the situation is "like that one" then don't wanna waste time bringing it into minerva for warranty replacement.

I'll try the headlight tip and see if that works and goes away. I read somewhere that the 1198 panel does not fog up. Will check that out. 1 more month to go before warranty expires!

Hi ppl,

Jux came across the above-mentioned Ducati 999 parked @ corner of Siglap Centre (Burnfoot Terrace)...bike is leaking petrol! I was in a rush and the best thing I could do was to inform the security personnel.

If any of u know the owner...kindly inform him of the potential fire hazard!

Over n out.

But i think he didn't meant any harm! It nice to have ppl out there helping us to keep a look out at our Baby, especially when urs is equipped with Ohlins and Brembo Mono Blocks!

Just my opinion, and i do not know who is that guy! I'm not helping him, dun get the wrong idea! Just my 2 cents!
