oh yeah... another thing, anyone wired up their parking lights to the headlight?

i think the headlight is really too dim... i have a spare pair of LED T10 bulbs that i read were supposed to fit there, but is it possible to have them linked to the headlight? i got the headlight changed to a H3 LED too... lol... anyone done it before?

Dear Friends,

Thinking of riding again after 7 yrs of driving.

Any suggestion which bike to choose? Honda VFR1200F, BMW S1000R or Ducati 848

VFR would only come in around March and expected price is around 30k

BMW would cost me around 44k

Any idea how much would the 848 cost me OTR?

How much would the insurance for a 32 yr old guy cost too?

Thanks for all your input.

the BMW and VFR will be rare bikes and will attract attention everywhere you go. the high tech VFR will be pretty comfortable for long distance i reckon. the ducati will be a little more common but the sound it will make and the ferrari red will be a head turner. just think u should go straight to the 1198...

Hi Edmund,

7 Years without riding? I'd avoid the BMW almost 200hp, unless you were really good, this might be a little over the top?

VFR - cruiser, are you planning on going to Thailand?

This leaves 848, joy to ride, enough grunt, lean machine, good brakes

Cheers

It doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is more power!

Yeah. He injects 'life' to any gathering. If it weren't that expensive i'd reckon we'll go visit him often. I'll give you a buzz if he so rarely comes by Singapore.

many question,many answer!

if u ask 20 guys in dis sbf , u got 20 answer!

basically,do u still keep your car,if yes,than u 're a

part time/freelance/sunshine biker like me!

or u quit 4 wheels & comes back to bike?

generally car owners 're less brand conscious ,any offer/bargain on dat particular weekend, dat 'll do,which is slightly different from d biking mob!

what 're u,a honda man,bmw man or ducati aficionado like myself?

another tips before u decide is read all d report u can get hold off & i dun meant free stuff from d net but go out & purchase all d bike publication in d whole universe!

that's a whole lot of reporting between the two & what do u expect to get,for free?????

sorri, got to run but dun worri, its part 1 of 20.

Don't think going for a 848 is a down grade. It makes more hp than a 998 !!!!
