It's one of those rare Sundays that I have no engagement. The ss is still not well. If it is cured by tomorrow, I will come with it. Getting a manual fuel pump installed. Otherwise I will come with the night rod special. My termis is at seng kwang undergoing some rescue work. So the ss, if I get to come with it, will be a quiet classic... Looking forward.

Guys..my bike is not ready for the above event. Today went down to look at my bike new paintwork and notice fews chicken strips at the fairing area in which informed them to redo. Hence, unable to join you guys trip to scape but will pop by at KFC Kallang..Sorry..

but the funny part was ... location from KFC change to McD ...

 

I did go to *scape ... saw a SF and a Ducati sportsbike (cant confirm which model but I notice it has only one headlight) ...

The one with the single headlight was a Bimota 3-D. Powerplant comes from a 1098... Awesome bike IMO

Cant believe it when i saw 7 bikes had fallen on the track.. hope all of the riders are allrite.. one of those was a desmo -_-

You have a point... but we do not know whether those who fell are newbies or seasoned riders who has just discovered their new limits.

 

I saw on the picture that there are close to 60 bikers.... 7 out of 60 may not be such a bad statistics.

I remember my first track session at PG, Mark Lim was there to guide the newbies, he did a very good job. The previous day, we attended the breifing session where he prepared and printed out materials on the track and where and when to brake and downshift, also the safety aspects and general guidelines on tracking.

 

Then on the actual day of tracking, he leaded all us newbies onto the track for about 5 laps, and each lap he went slightly faster so that we can get a feel and also watches what he does. He did this another time after we went out on our own to the track.

 

There were like 20 bikes that day and nobody kissed the tarmac except for the mechanic who is not a newbie and is a seasoned tracker. So all in all, Mark Lim did a superb job.
