my turn to get caught today.

 

After reading all the posts I decided to switch back to stock exhausts on my 848 over this weekend.. just my ass luck I got stopped by LTA today morning! location along the PIE just before Toh Tuck exit, towards tuas.

 

My fault for running illegal termis so I dint really reason with him. Going for inspection tomorrow morning, not looking forward to the fine

 

So to all, it may be a good time to switch back to stock at least for the moment, or go for approved ones..

 

I may be selling off my termi slip-ons (only), anyone interested can contact me...

No need. Test and proven by me. Now happily riding around without fearing of getting caught.FC is almost the same as stock also.

 

ok, thanks, someday i will go carpark see if i can fix my stock myself.. lol... think should not be a very big issue. my worries is the ecu very hard to access, may take a while to take out...

Hey guys, I solved the clutch issue. Had to use some force to knock out the pushrod cap from the OEM plate and knock it into the Rizoma one... Now only problem is I don't have a torque wrench so I tightened the spring bolts gently til it stops and release half a round - not sure if that's a good gauge... can anyone advice on that?

 

On the way uploaded some pics of the bike as well (especially the termis... changing to stock this week)

Difficult la. I doubt Minerva care at all. The same old answer from them. ahhhhhhhh....

Ya dun give up...Ducatis can be put to many different uses besides riding them.

 

You can use them:

 

1) to reserve a parking lot when you are out and riding your steed (with apehangers)

 

2) use as art sculpture at home

 

3) as christmas decoration

 

4) as toilet training device for you doggies

 

5) as exercise equipment, washing work the bicep & tri-ceps, pushing it around trains the legs n back as well

 

6) as a fixture to prop up your valuable bike cover

 

7) as a photoshoot prop

 

8) to store spare petrol for your steed (with apehangers)

 

9) to boost your cool factor at the pubs

 

10) as a vehicle mechanic training aid

Ducati = termis. So weird that the agent authorised to ducati is not authorised to sell the termis. Yet we are paying limbs and arms to buy these pipes. Its like an authorised apple shop to sell apple products but not allowed to sell the accessories.

 

What kind of business model they have?

 

Then they (Minerva) should do something about it. Drop the face issues, think for the customers and work closely with racewerks. All happy.

I guess.........The former only interested in 200% profit and cant be bothered with the hassle of paper works to please the customer. Looking at the unmotivated service department, i cant say the best for the workman ship anyway. While the latter aimed to please the customers, work with termi and LTA to ensure the stuffs are street legal at a decent profit.

my personally guessing is that minerva might have tie up with termi (overseas) to import in with the duc.. and before racewerk came along only minerva can buy termi for duc so they wan to make the only solo distrubtor for duc.. that is my personally guess.

 

i dunno izzit thru anot.. some old bird duc rider told me that last time when u buy termi & duc together from minerva ur termi is approve by LTA, no problem for inspection.

maxbg - well i dont wan to take the risk anymore.. if weekday (day or night ) they will haunt after us than wat abt weekend when all of us are out.
