Hi guys, anybody here had work done on there Duc's at HL Cycle? Thinking of just basic stuff like brake pads and change of fluids, but thought i would check in with you guys first before I hand over my baby... 😄 Thanks

its an 11 yrs old mileage abt 90k

Wow ok its seen a few miles. Unless the previous owner showed proof of a recent service and has it itemised i would just go the whole 9 yards and get it all done at once: valve clearance (by right done every 20,000km so next one is due at 100K IF it has been done regularly), timing belt (20,000km or 2 years), oil + oil filter, fuel filter. flush the coolant as well. Other wear and tear items might need work (brake pads, clutch plates, battery, coolant, brake/clutch fluid) as well. It will cost but peace of mind is priceless if you plan on keeping it and having it run problem free during your ownership

Do get your mech to check the rocker arm too.

It will be good to check the wiring of the bike too, any lose contact or bad grounding may cause the bike to not perform.

Perhaps not a priority but after you have serviced the engine and checked the brakes, would be worth getting the suspension checked over with new fluids as you would be amazed how much difference that can make to the handling on an older bike. Go to a specialist and they will also set it up properly for your weight at same time. Worth it if you going to keep her for a while.

Cool!! - looks more like a bedroom than a garage.... or have you prioritised and put your bed and the Mrs down in garage, and the bikes in the master suite... ?? 😃😃 haha
