hi guys, bad day for me yesterday  was driving my MPV and wanted to filter to the next lane. i just moved the vehicle a little and knocked/grazed a biker. He didnt fall as I i just inched to the left and he was riding so close along the side of my vehicle and was hidden due to my blind spot... turned out that it was an LTA biker!! haha! how lucky can one get :slapforehead: anyway, the fellow was pretty nice about the whole thing. It was an accident, he was not upset. His rear brakes were jammed and I helped him resolve the issue so he could continue riding. I am just glad he was not hurt. As a biker myself, I know bikers are vunerable on the road.

I blame myself for not being more careful. I blame him for not riding with a Termi because I may not have seen him, I would surely have heard him :):) :offtopic:

I will pay for the minor repair needed to his bike. Ride safely, drive safely and if you are gonna have a little mishap with anyone on the road, make sure it is not a law enforcement officer....

Recommend next meet up, we should arrange via PM, SMS. I am now on the hitlist of LTA because of what I did yesterday, I think they might put me on surveillance :bouncefire:

Happy New year y'all.

I actually feel safer riding my Harley compared to riding my stock Diavel because I can see heads in cars turning a litte to see where the sound is coming from. Not too loud, just enough to sound good and be heard.

By the way, love the collection of bikes you have ridden these past years. One question I have. How did you convince your wife to let you keep 4 bikes at the same time? I know some people have more so I am always wondering. I think I will need to downsize to 2 because a lot of complaints for keeping 3.

Hi Wilinson, I quote Hansiam, " Loud Pipe Saves Lives, Legal Pipe Saves Money".

Since I was mentioned by you, I will give you an insight of "Arrow" pipes.

I am using the Arrow Dark Line Pipes cuz it match my Stealth perfectly, as though Arrow developed it juz for my Stealth. A lot of misconceptions has been place on Arrow as a misfit for Ducati, and its also the cheapest in the market for pipes that fits my Stealth. I bought alone and paid S$1.8k for the Aluminium Dark Line Series Thunder Pipes slip on with the catalytic converters. Its street legal n comes with LTA approval papers and seals, after your inspection of course. Why aluminium? Its better sounding than titanium pipes, thats what I was informed when I was doing my info gathering before my purchase. I have never been disappointed with my Arrow pipes, its really thunderous. Was commented by Duke owners that the sound does give its competitors a good run for the money. My take is, let the Arrow Pipe speaks for itself. PM me if you want to know more about my pipes and if it can save you money, its good to share the info.

Cheers

Wolverine

Wolverine - where did you buy your Arrows and do you need the catalyst to get through inspection? or just the db killer baffles? Some great discounts on these via US/Euro websites but seems like hassle especially when LTA to consider! Thks Dan
