Directasia price is amazing. The saving between liberty and theirs is enough to buy 2 years road tax.

You got that right. I was surprised myself and saved approx SGD300. The NCD and offence-free discounts helped to suppress the insurance premium.

I am intending to switch insurer for the car too as the savings are significant.

The existing insurers have serious competition on their hands. And the customer service follow-up by DirectAsia was tested on the second day of collecting the bike at 2am. I must say I was really impressed.

anybody using heat wraps for your exhaust pipes?

I believe the heat is something we will have to live with since this is a typical combustion engine you are dealing with. My previous Honda was also very hot to ride. Ditto for the current HM.

I'd say be aware what you touch after riding, or the pillion has to be careful when seated on the bike. We arent living in a temperate country where the exhaust or engine parts (or even the frame) can cool more quickly than hot and muggy Spore.

For me, I try to minimise the heat issue by joyriding only at night. If it gets too hot, it may be a signal to ride faster to cool it down! :Þ

But honestly, it shouldnt be brushed off as a rich-brat-who-buys-without-finding-out-more syndrome. It can also be argued that some may decide to buy something on impulse and via a huge loan amount as well, only to find out later about other issues. Just my 2 cents' worth and no malice intended.

Ride safe.

I was thinking about it too. But not so sure what to get. Clutch cover and pressure plate will do? Just want that one of a kind rattling sound

my IU is plug and play type :)

I got a second IU power cable and some dual-line DC cable plugs so will try and do the same (plug n play). That way I can use it in front for daily use such as carpark entry and place under seat for Malaysia rides.

Do you have a weather resistant housing to surround the plug?

Hi guys, need help here! After the cats and dogs rain today, I had no problem starting my engine. But I felt a total power loss and whenever I clutch in to kick to second gear, my engine would just die off. And my exhaust is burning! Anyone experienced this before? Contact me at 81335945 if possible. Thanks!

Thanks for responding. Is there any chances it'll dry up soon? I tried riding it 5 mins ago, the exhaust won't turn red anymore. Rode one round and it only stall once but there's still no power.

I usually do warm up but was rushing for reunion dinner today. Tried riding it after a few hrs later, the exhaust isn't red anymore but there's still a loss of power and the engine seems to be slapping hard. Will try again tmr.

I dont think it will evaporate totally. There is another possibly too. Water may have seep into your fuel tank. Try to get it check asap. Dont risk pushing the engine and causing more damages.

I seems like one of ur ignition coils might have failed. Try checking the headers near the cylinder heads to c whether both are equally hot
