Agreed with u.. DAsia is offering an attractive premium with much lower excess. Any idea if my bike is still under lease with bike shop, possible to renew straight with DAsia? Faced with a sticky situation whereby bike shop insisted me to renew through them. Flipped through the contract which stated "...keep insured with a registered insurer approved by the owner (referring to bike shop)" -_-''

 

Any bros ever 'hiong' on the renewal of insurance while under lease??

Get a quote from the insured company then ask ur shop for a quote if they quite higher tell them u ask "x" company and were given a lower quote....

 

Or alt jus buy from ur preferred com loh... Nothing much they can do right?

Sigh... till now i havent get my 848evo. Was told by shop on 18th will be able to get it, but went on the 18th n was told that they need the ex owner to do some thingy and get a generated code from him to handover bike to me. Anyone got any idea about this procedure or etc?

 

Called on 21st and was told by near end of month will be able to collect it. I paid deposit long ago for the bike but till now to no avail. Gettint worried!

2010-2011: Gilera ST200

The ex owner needs to personally go down to LTA get a transfer pin code .it takes only abt 5 mins. Bike shops won't be able to do anything without the pin.

Yes.. If he don't go down they can't transfer.

Btw 1 question to ask about the dry clutch. How long does a dry clutch can last?

Yo Novabeng, I believe that lta transfer thingy applies to all bikes. Anyways thanks for the earlier replies, i should be collecting mine tomorrow =) keeping my fingers crossed!

Hey fellow riders, finally got my 848evo bout a week ago. Im still learning more bout the bike however enjoying every moment of it! The feeling is so much different from any other bikes! Anyways I've read up about the servicing plans and etc at merniva, I would like head down one of these days as I wanna find more info about the ex rider of my bike (still chasing for the original exhaust) and also to extend the warranty as I feel this bike really needs a warranty at all times. Any idea how much is it to extend?
