awesome. sound like a breeze to ride now. btw where did you got it change? minerva? thanks.

I got it changed at Minerva (they have the sprocket in stock usually as quite a common thing to do).

unfortunately frame was modded for aftermarket triple clamps which rules it out for me.

It shouldn't be the frame touched at all, just the fork mountings (why would that rule you out?). The original triple makes the bike a lot harder to turn whereas a 30mm means it is quick for direction changes.

Excel had a white 2012 848evo for $26k but the suspension had been lowered to suit the original lady-rider.

So with most of the 30mm replacement triple clamps on the market you need to cut the steering locks off the frame in order for them to fit correctly. Which means you cannot lock the steering any more. Sure you could get replacement stops welded back onto the frame but that is something I would rather not venture into.

motowheels in the US has just released a range of 30mm offset triple clamps that do not require the steering stops to be cut from the frame or any other modifications that are non-reversible, and I have already ordered a set for my 748 :) so it's not that I am against the 30mm, just that I am not a fan of ones that lose the steering lock for a road bike. For a track bike obviously it wouldn't matter and that is the primary market.

Just bought a brand new white 848 evo collecting from Minerva either this sat or next week pretty excited bout it! Hope to get some advise regarding 848 servicing/wear and tear from u all!

The ones I have on order are the motowheels one too :-)

Ah ok, they look nice, did you get them at the pre-order price? I ordered mine with top triples for both 748 and 848 so that I have the option of moving them between bikes when I finally find the right 848 over here. My 748 is in storage back in Aus so I only get to play with it a few times a year but still try to find something nice to fit up to it each trip :)

Yes, I got the promo price they advertised on ducati.org even though I was 4 days past cutoff and the website was back to normal price (they refunded me via paypal). I also got their tank mount and keyless fuel plug (as I have a new tank I will use for the track) -I'm swapping all my OEM white parts with China red parts.

I also have china front/rear lights and adjustable rear-sets.

btw, not sure if they still have it but excel had a great condition 2012 848evo in white with less than 4k km's at $26k... think they may have purchased it for 23ish so maybe room to move.

Hi bros!

Im new to ducati n im riding an 848 sp.

Just wondering if there is any legal pipes for the bikes and where is the shop ?

Secondly, i intend to buy a dry slipper clutch, how much would it cost me n where to get it too?

Thanks in advance!

STM Slipper clutch will cost u near 2K. I usually go to WORX motorsport. Street legal exhaust will be Arrow. i dont know of others.

I use my stock can with termignoni internals and also the 70mm Collectors. Power, Loud but looks stock.

ARROW is dealt by Biketech 21.

Hi guys,

Just wanna have a quick check on some error code which display on the cluster like (SPEE. 36.0 Speed sensor error)

It happened yesterday when the speed drop down to 0 KM/H while im riding but it did not clock any mileage that i goes from one end to another end.

For your info i did removed my speed sensor & clean it with contact cleaner & the warning light still there.

Think i might need to replace the faulty speed sensor if not wrong.

Thanks for ur well wishes. Well then the LTA officer must have been very experienced to spot the 70mm header.
