Why do you need the original rearset leh? U can get the aftermarket one less then $300 rather then the original one which cost around $500. PM me and I will tell you where can you get it.

 

For the brake lever, if you want the original one, you can drop by to minerva and check with the mech.

My 12k servicing is due and any reccomendations on where i can do it ? Unique quoted me about $500 for the servicing . Do i need to change the belts for the servicing ?

Was purchased for 380SGD with shipping online.

 

I've gone back to the original (thinner, harder) seat because its better for track use

Depending on the items, it might be better if you searched the parts fiche from commonwealth or ducati omaha or pro italia. The part number is 36011031A. Shipping might not be cheap for some of the dealers unless you purchase above USD500 IIRC. Just throw in a set of clutch plates or corsa flywheel and you're set for free shipping.

In a nutshell, yes you have to change your belts. In theory, yes/no, depends on the belt. In practice, you get charged for the change of belts but are the belts actually changed? (Some workshops take your bike behind walls where patron's entry is strictly prohibited). Back to the subject of $500 service package: Assuming that a regular oil change costs $200. Further assume that you have a $100 charge on gaskets, seals etc. Would you reckon that proper valve clearance and belt adjustment/replacement can be done within $200/$60 = ~3 hours? ($60 being average charge for per hour labor). Don't forget, the belts do cost quite a fair bit.

 

With that said, it's your bike and you can do what you want with it, but ducati's operate on prehistoric technology and are highly susceptible to problems. Don't take the chance.

Hi fellow riders, got a enquiry to ask. Usually when my bike's temperature hits 105 degrees my radiator fan will switch on at and bring it down to bout 97 degrees. However, recently my bike's temperature is able to hit up to 110 degrees. Any explanation for this? Starts to worry me for a bit.
