I just went KB Vicom inspection...my open clutch cover is ok...I PASS the test.....

 

its ALL ABOUT LUCK. Some leds pass too. Some dont. Some even failed with stock headlight because its too yellowish due to age.

Well, I think all of us would know, or at least understand in some way, how carbon behaves on impact -it shatters. .......hardened resin does not offer any flex and simply cracks at the smallest torsional force applied to it.

 

If you're wondering why carbon fibre is used extensively in exclusive production cars or even ......... of proportions, more than what it was designed to be.

 

Sure carbon fibre is used in MotoGP but the purpose of the fairings for a GP .........fairings. The fairings aren't there to protect the bike in event of a crash. Look at how the carbon shatters during FP or races.

 

So if u buy a CF helmet, your head be blown to bits when u crash?

You're welcome then, if your helmet was made with carbon as thin as the fairing then yes, your head (and I am speaking with direct reference to yours) would be "Blown to bits".

 

Now since this is an open forum, I'd do not claim to be the sage or assume I know everything. If I am wrong, which may be the case also- then I'm sure everyone would like to hear what you would have to add to this.

 

Come on now, let's hear your thoughts.

Stock headlight.....hahaha....ok. LTA very strict....

Any idea how much are STM cltch plates? i installed the whole set of STM Evolusione clutch on my 1098s in January. Im quite surprised they stated slipping even though the bike is seldom ridden.

 

Could it be due to the open clutch cover thats causing debris or rust inside?

Purchased my termi silencer from ebay and fitted it today... damn i hate the silenced sound =.= lost that ducati roar!

i am just curious is open clutch legal? for wat i know 1098 stock is dry clutch that create the 'ice cream' sound... so if it is legal LTA shouldnt fine us...

 

I'm not surprise they will start to fine us for open clutch cover. It's a matter of time!
