ah koon has almost everything n anything for phantom mods... but he's not necessarily cheaper... but he provides installation for everything he sells, so i guess its worth it if u have e money

if want install crash bar or handlebar or whatever cosmetic mods for phantom, can really consider ah koon as he really carries lots of stuffs for phantom.. quality wise is also good but price definitely abit steeper as compared to LAB (=

i got a question, tried searching the forum but to no avail. is it possible to change the default green LED speedo light to other colours, say white? in fact, i just changed the bulb recently because the bulb fused, but i realised it does not lie in the colour of the bulb. was suspecting if it's the speedo "film". pls advise. thank you!

 

the meter is a sealed unit, there is nothing u can do to the green film, as wat vidak mentioned, LED is the only way to 'override' the color, as LED puts out a very specific spectrum color, that will not be filtered by the green film....

 

i check'd th chain alr.. it isnt loose, in th sense tht its still healthy.. mm.

th sound some comes in whn im free wheeling.. othr thn tht, its ok..

 

its coming from the roller underneath the chain, as no tension is put on the chain, it starts to slack, as it slack, it'll roll over the roller....nothing to worry about....

tank nd rear fender is stock colour, front fender was gloss black (same as tank nd rear fender) but resprayed it due t some cuts.. now its matt black, yet t lacqour(typo?) it.. yep. (:

bullet head light ...change over is a breeze..

 

as the bullet headlight doesnt come with a std connector for honda bike..

 

this is what i did..remove phantom headlight..2 long screws that is attached to the headlight angle adjustment bracket..

seperate the connector.....by pulling it apart.

then install the bullet headlight on to the angle adjustmnt bracket.

the female connector from the bike..note the wiring configuration..ie colour..

on my honda steed..3 wires only..

i did not connect the power to the small bulb ..

the headlight bulb wires are terminated with a round type connector..i use plier and flatten the round connector into a spade like thingy..

the bike 3 female plugs of the connector..is oriented like a 3 pin plug top..

the centre one is earth and the other 2 is live..

insert the flatten plug green with yellow into the earth.. the other blue and brown into the 2 live female connector..

test the head light..for low and high beam...switch the live wires if not correct..

than use electrical tape..and tape the connector and stuff all wires into the bullet head light..

 

that is how i done it..

 

if still see no balls ..come over to the clinic to get it fixed..

i tried opening up my stock headlight just now and gave up... lol... mine like alot of wires sia

dont need to open...just pull out wires...identifie which bundle to the low high beam bulb only.
