when change EO, you all filled 1 bottle or 1 and 1/2 bottle?

when started i filled 1 and half, but i read from somewhere and mentioned 1 bottle is enaf.

 

so i only buy 1 bottle EO and i checked yesterday, its level still covered XXX.

1L is more than enough...but always keep some EO on hand and check level at regular intervals and top up if necessary.. It seems that every 500km is a good figure to start with.

 

using too much EO make your bike inefficient and in some cases possibility of leading to engine damage.

there is some noise coming from the rear wheel when i push my phantom. I believe there is a possiblity that the wheel bearing might be a bit worn out. Does any of the folks here know the model of rear wheel bearing? I am thinking of buying high quality SKF bearing and have the shop replaced it for me.

Go by one litre. top up if falls below xxx mark(hardly). change at 2000km. thats what i do.

They give a free helmet and (raincoat OR bike dust cover) btw, but don't expect it to be your first helmet, cause its kinda rough on the inside.

 

And yea, Boon Siew no longer sells, that was what I was told when I called to enquire.

 

And you can trust mepkoh, I met him once and he's really just trying to lend a helping hand to a fellow biker to be =)

What is the price of pirated(chiong) gearbox for TA150 nowadays? Does TA200 use the same gearbox too? Anyone shop to recommend?

first i would like to ask about the tensioner, i seen in the repairs and mod thread that tensioner will give a tick tick sound during moving off, so the tick tick sound for phantom is normal...?

 

then about bike shops, from browsing through various threads that planet motors and ah koon is the most famous bike shops for phantom and greatly patronize by PK... i know planet is at ubi... then where is ah koon...?

 

lastly where is this LAB mention is the repairs and mods thread...

Univasial Motor got sell ar...at alaxanda road there...look for david...not bad...had a pretty bad exp wid bike production...bike is rather cheap but interest is high i think...

as long as brake still effective..nothing. Unless u r lossing braking power best to get it fix..or else anyhing can happen while on the road.

Low is ok, if there's still a level in the holding tank, means the line below is still full of fluid, but if the level is dropping visibily everyday, something is wrong, go check the lines.

i'm currently learning 2B, at stage 1.03 now -_-"

wanted to get a Phantom TA200 after i pass...

been browsing through the forum for a time... and have some questions in mind.

so here some questions from me the ultimate newbie...

 

1. roughly how long to pass if i go for lesson once a week???

2. what's the diff between plate start with FV and FU

3. what are the good reputation bike shops and where are they?

4. total price to buy and replace the parts and admin fees etc...

5. saw some of the thread mentioned about TA150's 2T what's that and TA200

EO what's that??

6. roughly on which stage of my driving lesson should i start to look for a bike.

7. as i don't have a friend riding, so anyone can suggest a trust worthy shop to get the bike from?

8. what are the thing to take note when getting 2nd hand bike from shop?

9. is there any 2nd hand TA200 lesser than 2yr? and roughly how much?
