Don't bother with the cost of the racks, they don't cost $100 and there are many ways to mount them. Can even get from scrapped bikes, repaint and use good as new.... for less than chicken rice cost?

 

Buy first and enjoy the $105 savings :3

Try getting from used parts bin from Planet, Koon, etc. Might even give you for free.

 

And lol I like the bike without the top box. Cars stay far away from "fat" bikes!

hahaha! i thought ur bike will look gd with just e side boxes leh! cause ur handlebar so short, so i thought it will look quite sporty with just e side boxes...

Good practise to put some moisture absorbent matting in the side box. It's not completely waterproof.

 

Maybe some rose scented air fresheners next :3

oh yea , talking about stickers , i saw a goldwing recently with a "200km/hr" sticker pasted on his sidebox. Anyone knows where got sell such stickers? i wanna buy a 50km/hr sticker to paste on my sideboxes too lol

I should mount the '***** on motorcycle' sign.

 

But right now the cars stay well clear of the big fat bike with the rose on the windscreen so I'll behave. For now.

Finally got it up with a simple L bracket. It doesn't feel secure but looks ok externally.

 

For the exhaust side, do u guys put anything at the base of the saddle to protect it fm heat & soot?

 

mine was for keeping it frm slanting inwards, but i wont touch the wheels thou, jus dun look so nice nia... and most impt not touch the exhaust and alow both sides to look equal...

nope... the l bracket is suppose to life the bag n prevent it frm touchin ur exhaust, make sure u tie the center part of ur saddle bag to the correct length n tight
