hi fellow PKs, im doing a survey on what tires you guys fit on your ride. it'll would be great if you can provide a short review on whatever tire u tried before.

I prefer Pirelli city demon over metzeler for wet road riding. I wana try Irc for the next change if i have the chance.

i m using pirelli since i got the bike....

so i have no chance to compare with other tires..

 

but so far i never skid before or maybe i ride very slow durin wet...

bcos phantom is like no brake if ride in rain...

Metzelers are soft compound tyres which has better grip but faster wear.

from the poll, metzelers is the most popular choice of tires so far. i heard phantom rear rim can fit up to 150 width tyre. is that true? anyone using using tire wider than 130?

??? are you sure? so many people complain irc rear tire tend to be slippery during wet and rainy conditions...

 

not the stoke IRC dude.. You can get the IRC wildfire..

 

 

they will burn the roads and sweep the road too ;-)

icic, thanks for explaining. im currently using rear IRC NR 67. is that a stock IRC tire? don feel like changing now cos threadlife still alot and conditon still good. wanna make it more botak before changing.

Hmm so far, i feel that my pirelli city demon is really good. Not really afraid of wet weather anymore.
