Hi, may I know the price to change the front tires...? Thanks

Front $75 - 90

rear $90 - 120

Change in a set of front and back can get around $150 for metzeler. Check Unique Motors web/ forum for offers. Or you can ride down to Planet and ask. Last time I change both front and rear also $150 at Planet.

I'm adding some HP and CCs to my Phantom (230cc), has anyone installed a much wider rear tire on the Phantom?

BTW/ My Honda factory service manual (200+ page shop manual) states tire pressure cold should be 29psi (200 kPa)

Hi everyone

Does anyone know where I can get used tyres for the TA200? I only have a few months, till Dec only, of coe left and I'm not sure whether I'm renewing the coe so not gonna get new tyres for less than 6 months.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Still no answer to the bigger/wider rear tire question. Has anyone put a bigger/wider back tire in a Phantom and what size? I'm doing some serious engine mods and will need a better back tire than the stock one.

Newbie here.

My rear tire punctured once and was repaired. Not too long ago, it punctured again and I sent it for inspection; The mech says there's no other 'holes' so most probably the leakage comes from the same spot. He recommended me to change the tire but I refused and he proceeded to pump air for me. Today, it deflated again but not as bad.

Question: Should I get a brand new rear tire? or any other recommendations?

Many thanks!

If your hole is not too big.. u can try this

1. Remove air

2. push or pull the worm

3. clean hole with alcohol

4. put in another worm.. make sure you use the solution as well.

Option 2.

Use a tire sealant. Flatten your tire at petrol station.. pump sealant in.. adjust air with petrol station air pump... then ride off for the sealant to set.

You can try to trace the leakage by sprayin the area of the worm with soapy water...also spray on the valve where u pump the air...it may also be leaking from there.wic mech u use eh?finding leak agak agak n never troubleshoot?i have tires wic i fixed worms my self n have ride until can see white fibre but still can ride but of coz i dont advice u to ride until can c white fibre,,,also sibei dangerous so dont do at home....kekekekee.....oh yes forgot to say if spray soapy water n have bubbles from that spot...leak is from there yooo

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that

Hey, appreciate your inputs. Option 2 is it similar to the 'patch from inside' method? My mechanic did say it's not worth and much better to get new tire. Also, not many shops offer such service; I don't have the skills to diy such methods btw.

Option 2 might be a short term solution though.

Hahah I'll try what you suggested. To be fair, I think not worth his time and effort. Sorry but I don't think I can post his identity here. You know any shops near serangoon to diagnose the problem properly and service?

Option 1 is very viable and can be fairly long lasting. The rubber worm will vulcanize and seal with the original tyre

Actually no, the patch inside is mainly for car type, not to say that bike tires cannot do it. The sealant is more of a liquid which will seal from the inside. Works for me with about 5 small leaks till I change the tire.
