Hie to all bros....!! U guys comparing suits..?

*From my opinion, all suits, brands are tactically almost the same.! Its only the quallity & technologies make them differents..Well,1st of all u need to know is hw often u are using & ur limits..!! If u are comparing like Texport,Dainese,Spyke..etc. for me its all the same..Coz if u playing @tuas,kallang carpark,or even johor track,u can buy those mid range suits.ex(clover,R-jays,nankai,suomy) coz these tracks are rather confined,so the risk is lower..those suits also fitt most riders budgets..Wherelse,if u often ride at Sepang,Changi or other professionals tracks,i bet u need better suits..!! coz these tracks was designed such ways,so the risks is higher.lots of high speed corners,turns...

so choosing a racing suits is very important!!!!

Brands like Dainese its world recognised!! due to their technologies. And if u r a big size dainese, alpinestars suits u guys, due to their cuttings!! For small/mid build size,u can choose like rs taichi, spyke, spidi etc..So,all depends on u riders..Further more, most of us took racing as a hobby, not a career..financial is important to..!

*lastly..for texport u can go to biketech21@dunlop st.

remember choosing a suits is important, therefore financial must be strong & its part of ur investment..

happy racing guys!!

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

Hey dude,

I respectfully disagree with some points.

Pasir Gudang, Kallang & Tuas are much more dangerous than Sepang.

I have crashed lots at PG & Sepang especially and take it from me - I know.

One of many examples:

The gravel in PG has probably never been tilled since the last GP race, so when you run into it, it's like riding on pavement and it does not absorb any impact or slow you down. The barrier and run off areas are outdated too.

Because of the above, bikes will overshoot the gravel and hit the barriers.

I have crashed TWICE at Sepang's turn 1 (and Turn 6 and turn 4 and turn 15) at redline on 6th on a 1000, (don't ask me how) and never made it close to the barriers and my only injury was a bruised fingernail.

You ahve to remember, speed does not kill - It's speed differential or the difference in speed when you hit something. How bad you are injured mainly depends on how big the difference in speed was.

Which brings me to suits - my advice when it comes to motorcycles and especially performance riding is: If you buy cheap, you buy twice.

Not all materials are the same from one manufacturer to another.

I can vouch for Dainese, RS Taichi & Spidi since I have crashed heavily in them, writing them off after one or two big crashes each.

My pick is the Spidi R2 Kangaroo (full kangaroo skin), no other suit I know of comes close to the suppleness of the leather, which makes it feel like you are not wearing leathers and makes it easy to move around the bike.

I am on my second Spidi now, that is how much I like it. I donated my old Spidi to MotorWorld for the sake of science and research (haha), ask Kenji if he still has it.

Dainese has great fit but the leather is thick and the construction heavy IMO.

Texport Top line race replicas are really light and have good ventilation.

RS Taichi make the best sliders though.

You CANNOT stinge on some things and personal protection is one of them.

Cheers,

My advise..if u can afford it..buy the higher end suit. Afterall its ur 1st skin when u slide against the tarmac..

Like Hart said..its ur PPE(personal protective equipment), its top priority. Same goes for helmet, boots, gloves..

Juz my 27cents after GST..hehe!!

Viper suit at Chiap Lee should be $400++

viper pvc le... i think compared to a 400+ viper... my x2 for $500 is definitely a good deal.

i agree to what Hartholomew said... "You CANNOT stinge on some things and personal protection is one of them"
