did you know that a registered user has the ability to delete his own posts? the option is just at the top right hand corner of your individual posts.

Thanks or highlighting to me..

Neway extra posts have been deleted.

Dude, Rhema's comments were remotely offensive, if at all.

Certainly no need to reply with that sort of tone and manner, lah.

Maybe you stressed up at work or in school....easy... mate....

==========================================

back to topic, i find prexport suits very comfy.

Last time Shah wanted to sell me a Prexport Kawa factory Suit for $1300 so i tried it on.

Fitted me perfect, but becos of the green factory colors, i looked like a frog so i didnt buy it.

$500 is a good price if condition is fair for a Prexport 1 piece suit (made in Italy)

Whoa whoa, everyone please relax. If really stressed please unwind on the track! :cheeky: The forum has been unstable recently so I can understand the glitches. Let's just forget it. (Deleted my first "offending" post already.)

I agree that $500 is a great price for the suit. You might want to put it up in Classified or Garage Sales section (if you haven't).

Hi Guys

I was there at MotoWorld to check out the suit.Great selection of motor gears too.

Unfortunately, the service really sucks! Was there for almost 15 minutes looking at the suits but the sales staff don't bother to help you(1 watching TV, 1 eating)& it's after lunch time,3pm.In the end,had to approach the staff & ask them about specifications etc... her answers are like yes lah & no lah types of answer. In the end, bought $300 worth of stuff & F@#k off from there.

Think i'm not going there anymore... unless really necessary.

Make up my mine & go buy Clover RC100.

Same thing happened when I went down. Sian!

But I have to say, RC100 is really nice. It looks good, and I've felt the leather before. It's definitely soft and comfortable, unlike some cheaper suits (Komine comes into mind). A very good buy for only $1200+.

Alternatively, you can try to get the Kangaroo Compression suit of Berik / MotoGP. It doesn't have Titanium protectors, but it's light and functional. I'd have bought it if it said "Berik" instead of "MotoGP"

rhema, from wat i know, there isn't any MotoGP suit.. there's only Berik.. and they come only in Cow hide. for kangoo suit, only arlen ness has it. both of tis brand comes under Madif. Berik do have one model which comes with titanium protector.. and it looks really great. the suit can often be seen on MotoGP, worn by the GP riders.. lastly for the price tag, it's less than 1.6k, inclusive of shipping from http://www.bg-performance.com. i mus say, it's really a great price..

and from wat i heard from the bg personnel, they're gonna have a distributor in Singapore, and the prices will be revised, which might cost more than wat they are offering now..

on a side note, one of the technician in the BG performance team, who won the recent China Zhuhai Pan Delta super racing festival, is a Singaporean.

sorry guys, if i'm bein seen tryin to promote for the brand or the distributor. i dun work for any of them. jus tat i'd dealt with the company before and find tat their service are really good, hence wud like to recommend to the rest of ya guys who might be interested in gettin a budget suit.

MotoGP Apparel (by Berik) homepage

If you go to the Madif homepage you will also see the MotoGP and the "No Fear" eyes logo.

The MotoGP Kangaroo suit (no Ti protector) is 999USD. Usually after discount, and you add in shipping, it will add up to about 900+USD when it reaches Singapore. Now that USD is weak ($1.58 only), it's a good time to use VPost to get it.

I think there were some online stores like Motorcycle-Superstore that deal with MotoGP apparel. But according to the website, it seems like they restricted sales to Tucker Rocky catalogue.

Personally I can't get it because the smallest size is 40, and I wear 36-38.

UPDATE

MotoGP Kangaroo Suit at Metrik Bikes Superstore

$809.99 USD, FREE SHIPPING (to your VPost address in USA, then VPost will ship it to Singapore for a fee).

Yes, address is correct!

Was there a couple of weeks ago to check out if they have anything for my bike.

Very 'funny' guy, (for example) wanted to buy motovasion sliders, he says no good

his brand better. So ask him if he's got Akrapovic full,he says no good cos his Arrow brand

better, cos got 2 horses more etc....i was telling myself WTF?

In the end, manage to buy what i needed from another bike shop!

So take note, whatever he don't have... he sure says 'no good one, my brand better'. :giddy:

That will usually not happen unless your purchase is over $400 I think. However that vPost would have calculated that in mind. Leathers are not extra-taxable items also. :)

Bought alot of things from denniskirk.com, they have lotsa good close-out items. But beware of the sizing differences.

Well, which is cheaper, paying GST and excise on a USD900 suit, or a return air ticket to say, Hong Kong (where they sell these)?

After much consideration, I am putting up my race suit, gloves and boots for sale. The reason is the suit is a little too loose for skinny me. The gloves are okay but they match the suit really well. And the boots are slightly loose too. :cheeky:

My Thread in Garage Sales

Of course, after selling my suit, I will need a replacement. I heard good things about the Clover RC100. Does anyone know how much it's going for?
