Paiseh~ paiseh , i opened the gsxr manual liao . But i can't send it to u cos my E-mail can't send anything that over 10 mb . ur file is 10.6mb , anyway for me to compress it . i'm using the school's computer to open it .so i can't DL anything to comperss it . anyother e-mail allows 11mb to be sent over ?

Hoping to get a gixxer next year.. yea, i know long way to go.. but sort of wondering, can the gsx400 pull off a wheelie? Any of you guys here have done it before??

hey guys, i'm back again... and this time i got other probs again.. can someone help mi out here...

 

my prob: i parked my bike at a place for sometime, after a few hrs, i went back and found a puddle of water under my front fairing... greenish and a bit yellowish at the same time... 2 times liao.. first time it was quite a big puddle.. this time not that big but looks worrying..

 

when i brushed my finger along the bottom of my fairing, it was all dry except for dust... so i also cannot put my finger to wat exactly wat is leaking... i understand that green liquid is actually coolant from the radiator?? does that mean that my radiator is leaking?? OH NO!!! that's not good rite??? can someone help mi out here... thanks a lot..

can i check out with with your. why my g4 when never ride for a few days then when i ride again the power become like power cut like that. very slow no power and the engine become like very rough. got that rough sound when rev, normal is can hear the pipe sound one. isit must ride everyday? i just wash carburator and change EO only leh. y like that one???

yah..most prob when ya riding and the temp is high than the coolant start to boil and will leak out.So after riding and when parking it to cool dwn the coolant will continue to drip out until the temp is low or bck to normal,tt y u see a puddle of water..have u ever experience the coolant liquid spilling onto ur legs when ya riding???probably the hose( plastic pipe) of the coolant radiator gt hole or wat u sae the radiator cracked and leaked.But the latter is more serious i think, else juz change one new hose.

hey, i realised that wat u say really makes a lot of sense, coz there is this spill onli when i park after riding till the temp is quite high, if after riding and the temp is not very high, there is no such spill.. and for the question abt coolant spilling on my legs when riding, so far haven't encounter yet...

 

so can i know if the leak due to high temp normal? or is there a prob i am facing?? thanks a lot man...

hey, ur prob sounds really familiar, i encountered this prob a mth ago or so i think... the sound bery rough, sounds bubbly rite?? then when u travel, speed bery slow, but RPM bery high??

 

if this is wat u are facing then u prob have the same prob as mi then.. when i went back to the shop the other time, the mech told mi that one of my spark plugs die liao... after he changed one plug, everything back to normal..

 

the above is case one...

 

i think if i am not wrong, the same thing happened again 2 weeks later, i went back to the shop again and this time the mech told mi that one of my plugs is slow is heating up... i am not sure what that means, i guess it means that it is cooler than the others...

 

for the second case i forgot wat he did liao... but i think if ur prob is the same as my prob... then there is nth much to worry abt.. just bring it to the bike shop... from wat i remembered fellow forum mate Shawn told mi that the fuel injection might be too rich going to the spark plug thus causing the prob with the plugs, i told that to my mech too... he did some adjusments on the second time i went back.. i guess that might have been the main prob... u can try asking ur mech to check that out for u...

 

this is all i know from experience.. if i am in anyway wrong... i am sorry..

bro, g4 required u to ride everyday, or warm up everyday. So its a MUST for u to warm up properly if u nv ride for couple of days. Maybe u can just sit on ur bike, switch on ur engine, then rev to 3krpm and maintain, let it warm up this way for abt 3-5 mins (time urself). After then just soft rev rev abit then move off... If ur pipe sound change liao, and da normal top speed to just 60km/hr. Means 1 of ur plugs faulty liao, then just change tat plug can liao.

 

 

mickeem: Its confirm ur coolant. Its either radiator or ur tube. I duno leh, gotta bring to shop and check. If not ur bike will heat up damn fast.

hi friend, ur coolant leaking means u canot go for long distance ride, u need to change all ure coolant rubber hose pipe, if u change only one, the other might leak sooner or later, also need to check the steel hose pipe, some may rusty result in coolant leakin. try to warm up n see which side leaking. good luck.

hey.. the steel hose pipe u mentioned, is it the 4 that is linked to the spark plug area?? the one in front ?? the thing now is, there has onli been 2 incidents of leakage, this morning when i rode to camp, it has been parked there till now, and no leakages... so i don actually know wat exactly is the prob also..

 

can u enlighten mi on whether it is a big prob?? thanks a lot...
