So far G4 Service how much, ANy G4 rider can tell me ??? I going to Buy a G4 soon .... like Engine Oil , Plug & oil Fillter....

engine oil is 2.9litres, which is 3 bottles, price range from 10-25 each.

i m using semi syn at 15 per bottle

spark plugs need 4, price from 5-15 tink, i m using ngk titanium at 10each

oil filter and air filter i forgot liao...

G4 is quite an old bike liao. so it would all depends on how much the previous owner takes care of it.

 

but the usual wear and tear needs to change over time, this is so for all bikes. so it would be quite unfair to say g4 is problematic.

for me there are a lot of considerating factors such as FC, price, condition, resale value, maintainence, etc...

currently riding a FK plater RP 400cc and happy with it...

just came back from kluang yesterday clocked ard 350km total no problem at all crusing between 120-150kmph...

only went for 1 servicing for spark plugs and EO.

after tat wash carbs loh...

been working well till now...

Depends on where you are doing your servicing and what type of EO you are using.

 

The service cost ard $100 = Full syn EO, Oil filter and 4 x NGK Platinum plugs

Service and tune the carb ard $100

 

I ever did carb servicing at a bike shop for $60 but they never tune for me, nor check for any parts which need to be replace...so I guess what you pay is what you get.

G4 got one carb...4 spark plugs...2.9litres EO without oil filter..with oil filter 3.2litres...wash carb around $80 if i didn't remember wrongly...EO depending on u change to fully sync or semi sync...price range from $12 per bottle to $30 per bottle...plug also depend one which one u change..price range from $8 to $22 per plug i think

yeah..ard there..but i think if u want budget...can go guan hoe to do it...suzuki authorised service centre...should be cheaper over there coz they use shell EO and normal ngk plugs...somemore when they wash ur carbs..they can check if there's any worn out parts that u need to change..and it'll definitely be cheaper to change in guan hoe then in other bike shops...then u can request the mechanic there to help u check ur bike to see if its in good shape
