ya..the problem is my helmet is the that $20 cheapo sumo helmet yet still got ppl want to steal..omg!!it seems the respond here is damn lo..or are we just too free..lol

bro, you hooked the strap to your bike ? maybe you can try using the 2 D-rings to hook onto your bike? at least even they want to steal might need a saw:thumb: and i guess probably those P platers who just got their bike and want that helmet for their pillion.

What is this 2d ring?? Nv heard before. I hang it at the helmet hook under the seat. And they cut it of leaving the 2 ring to tie the helmet. Anyway just broke my record for this bike at 133km/h. Wander when the pipe will come out.

Add me to the list. Im sure there are more around lah. Just that they dont visit this forum.

 

Anyway i think this bike is quite chio what. Aiyah, anyway for a 2B bike, i think it is more than decent. Price wise, reasonable, design wise, quite cool except for the tires. Want all the really stylo one, then wait till we own a class 2 bike ah. That's when the big boys come out to play.

 

Honestly for me, the price of the other cool looking sports bikes like the R125 and RS125 simply threw me off. I didnt even consider them. Budget lah. And although i did think of getting a SP or KR initially as i am a real sports bike fan, the thought of some unimaginable problems which can come in the package together with a machine which is averagely 6-8 years old also put me off. I dont want to be riding or worse still PUSHING my bike to the workshop every now and then. Not worth it in my opinion.

 

And from what i hear from some shops, they have already sold quite a number of them.

 

What i typed above are just my personal opinions, no offence to other fans and riders of other 2B sports bikes.

D RINGS are the 2 metal things which helps to secure the strap whenever you wear your helmet. but some helmets design does not come with it.

bro i agree with you. tho im riding a 2 stroker now, i can say R15 is a very good buy compare to RS or R. Is reliable yet at a reasonable price. of cos the looks is great too

at least ur bike didnt fall on the ground..

i had a friend, who park his R6 @ the orchard mosque carpark..

with his chui helmet..

some fella tried to burn off the metal string attached, pulled the helmet..

n burnt his pillion seat..

in the end.. the bike was on the floor when we came back to the lot..

the thief failed to steal though..

try not to hang helmet there if going off for more than an hr. =)

juz wondering whats its top speed..

my gilera can reach up to 145km/h..

my mind was so set on getting a honda sp, now im having 2nd thoughts

 

but the two main issues would be insurance (sp older bike so insurance for 3rd party cheaper by a little and for r15 i would definately buy minimum TPFT) and maintainence/FC ( i wonder if the repairs/fuel for the sp would cost way more then r15 over a couple of years)

 

im trying to calculate which one would be a better bet in the long term but i really cant come to any conclusion

i would say go for the R15 if you can.

 

coming from a sp rider viewpoint.
