erm.. is not the hissing sound when u are slowing down from gear 2 to gear 1.

 

It's a beeping sound..

 

U guys know the sound from fuel tank? sometimes u shake ur fuel tank there's a beeeeeppp... correct??

 

mine is when riding from 20km/h +/- onwards.. any gear.. will have beep..beep..beep..beep.. non stop.. unless i slow down to 20km/h +/-..

 

When moving I clutch in also have the beeping sound..

 

When I stop.. i try throttle.. Dont have that sound..

 

So izzit normal??

yeah the good guys from Motovation posted on our thread a few pgs back, including the venhill brake hoses too.

 

Max, are the balancers able to fit perfectly? or had to be cut by them, like what they did for Scarecrow's ones?

not to worry... i think its the disc brake... last time i have tis problem now no liao....

I dont think disc brake will give a beeping sound. Esp from fuel tank/meter area.

 

Babymonster>>> go chk with mech. I know what sound u are referring to. Its a high tone "toooooooot" from the front part of the bike. I hear mine too. But its periodically when idle/engine off. Or shake bike. Its supp to be a detector sound which is the bike trying to auto detect itself to make sure its in good working condition. If urs keeps making that sound, then it prob has difficulty/error in trying to detect/calibrate smth. But i would say, go to a mech which has knowledge of this. As it is, not many pple i know can even hear it. And they cant do anything to it if they cant even hear it. For this issue, prob agent would know best what u're referring to (2nd aft ur most trusted mech of cos, provided he can hear or has knowledge of what u mean).

Sometimes the bike under hot sun.. tank and air expand??

When riding tank cool first so air release??

I've been hearing this sound coming from my bike also.. think its nothing la.. maybe like they say releasing air pressure lor coz so far riding otr no problems even when there's that sound..
