hey guys. Just a bit curious. been riding my r15 about 2weeks already. 600km mileage. been through quite a few of singapore's past few mood swing rainy days. and there seems to be a scratching sound at around 5000rpm. on gear 3 and above. is it cos there is not enough lubricant on the drive chain?

Posted

Most likely its the chain. I experienced the same thing, cos aft a thorough wash then i never lube immediately.. Same prob.. From 3rd gear onwards, everytime it approaches 5k rpm, it will have a sound. Gave it a good lubing with chain wax and it was fine liao.

for the love of the game, and the ride..

Speed is about control, control comes from your wrist.

An accident will cause you to lose your wrist, which in turns leads to losing control and eventually speed.

Think twice before twisting your wrist.

i see most people on road check blind spot then accident one. scary . . . that day near ikea at tampines a biker crashed into a car cause he check blind spot look back boom . . .

U r not suppose to turn all the way back, just turn ur head and turn back only. Quick glance. Alot of drivers also check very long then never look ahead and crash.

i check larrr =P i mean like . . . most accidents happen cause of checking blind spot . . . its like so uncertain. to check back u dont see front u see front u cant see back. end up hopefully is how lucky that there is nothing infront or beside/behind. and also not reckless. my friend recently just stop cause of red life got banged behind by a car who didnt brake in time. so uncertain. accidents will be accidents. so driving or riding also must be careful. =D
