Just get my R15 yesterday, encounter one problem...

 

Only one of the headlights is working when using low beam, the 2 headlights will work together only if high beam is used...

 

Any one of you encounter same problem ? should i claim for warranty?

all R15 is like that, many other SportsBikes' headlight also work this way..

Hey guys, just gotten a r15 black and i stay at tampines, noticed there's a blue one in th same multi story car park as me at blk 3** wonder if its anyone here? Anyway is th led light thing still going on? Interested heh.

all R15 is like that, many other SportsBikes' headlight also work this way..

 

it is not "work tis way...". It's a design flaw. it blows out the bulb and most of them the left side.

Guys how much do you run in? Cos th manual wrote that 0 to 5oo km don't go above 5rpm and 5oo km t 1ooo km can go till 7.5 right? Is that when you do th servicing and change oil?

run in to 2k km.

up to u.. 1000 is recommended..

500km 1st oil change..

1000km oil change, filter change..

2000km oil change, spark plug.

selling stock yamaha yzf r15 for 6k otr w/o insurance, steel mate 2 way alarm installed , current mileage at 500, free 2 services at 1k and 3k. registered bike on 21st JAN 2010, 10 years left on COE, road tax paid for a year, haven't loot th bike or gone above rpm 5(currently running in). SERIOUS buyer please call me at 83993292. selling reason: bought the bike without parents approval and when they knew they insisted i sell it and getting a car soon.

wah u hardcore leh, 4-stroke 150cc u also wanna tune ar? i think u can try those big bike shops like HKL or racewerk and see whether they can help u..
