So how does it feels now after installing?

Any figures or something? Like speed to rpm etc.

As if an angel is pushing :)Not the fastest R15 bike but at least better than my stock performance.

After a hassle of trial and errors with sprocket sizes, the data as follows: 7 rpm shows 118kmph and at 10.8rpm,the speedometer shows 171kmph before the power cut from the CDI kicked in. No need to bend down for aerodynamics to get 139kmph,just a further more twist on the throttle.

While at top speed, my add on Koso digital thermometer reads at 76 deg Celsius. Under a 30 min idle under hot sun, temperature soared till 93 deg celsius and constant. Bike moving at 8 rpm, temperature is at 74 deg celsius.

As long as it does not hit above 110 deg celsius,it is safe to operate the bike at high speeds.

Some flaws about this performance: Needs engine oil change at every 1200 km

??? So meaning that is like what... up the size to 800cc? XD

LoL...just my luck to get a proper big bore kit with a good mechanic as I knew some friends also tried using other kits however failed to get the expected results. End of the day,its just another 2B bike :)

dont know leh, now my bike 2nd time ald with this problem..knn..n they say its not e factory problem..

Fuel pump problem arise when ur bike/car is not even 4 years old got several factors.Common is always ride on reserve fuel thus insufficient fuel sucked into d fuel pump itself. If ur bike ardy left with 1 bar make sure to ride below 80 to find d nearest pump station,This is what an ex hong Leong mech told me about fuel inject engines.

Bro as an experienced rider if I ride on the fast lane to overtake cars I would do 110 centre lane 100 slow lane ur suka.To survive you must think that your 150cc 100kmh 1.6 car is only 86kmh leh.Unless u change to 15/39 sprockets la...My bro in law is a TP he say bike below 200cc 120kmh is only 106kmh capture on d speed camera due to its lightweight. But thing a bit differ if u downsize ur sprockets.

Yay, the thing about the big bore even from mechs around said that it wasnt built to last. But then, those that was used in bike production can be used too. That kinda quality also derived from the common ones that was pre-installed on OEM bikes. So I'm guessing with a good run-in and much TLC, it would last. Say... 3 years? Max?

I remember seeing someone selling rizoma products at cheaper pricing compare to local bike shop. You might wanna try the mo thread forum.

General : Hmm.....seems like alot of dicussion going on about performance and legal bikeshop issues.

Derfurhrer: im also interested in knowing how much u spend for the big bore kit and all bro.170km on r15 is the first time i ever heard bro.

Slowbutsteadybro : hey bro....i also heard around that playing with sporkets and cam all would help and be good, what sporket size is good for pickup, mid-range or top ? u should possess some valuable knowledge from ur experiences with bikes.

Hi All, YZF-R15 riders, do you guys have this problem where when you ride and hits 3.5 RPM and above you can hear the piston churning (like chut..chut chut.).. and as you throttle more up to 7RPM its churns faster? Is it normal for this bike? I used to ride an old caburator CBR 150 and doesnt hear this problem. Please help! My milleage is now at 1600KM. As per manual instructions, as long as you hit above 1000KM milleage you can ride normally. I break the engine as per instructed in manual. Exhaust smoke looks normal.

It isn't from the chain. I sometimes heard that weird noise too. However after servicing , the noise subside but after awhile it still could be heard.

Need to hear then will know eh. Maybe you can come out for gathering next time for the r-series and we can talk more :)

But "Exhaust smoke.." itself is one red flag for me! ??!!!! SMOKE?!
