Guys and girls...What are your thoughts on buying first hand vs second hand if I plan to use the bike for 2 years only (after which I want to upgrade)? I get the feeling that a first hand bike depreciates faster than a second hand bike

Then you wouldnt need to consider R15 I think.

Look like you could use a SP/ phantom for a change.

RX-Z is hot on the list, sure sell ex... along are gillera, spark, wave, 125z and the likes. R15 still new model, so the discrepancy of new and old likely still high price.

So if ya looking @ what I call a "Faq-n-go", you go for SP/phantom lo~ Just use and dump, at most only chalk up 3K for purchase then go big bike liao :)

it seems like yamaha isn't going to continue on production for X1R and LC135 Spark. kind of disappointing..

Quite true, initially I was discussing this to some other friends and all of them kinda said the same thing. Eventually when someone reaches the top of class2, they will want to like relax and ride one small bike.

True not JSC?

Ok I've just adjust the idle yesterday,Now after warm up show 1300rpm.Btw here is the diff between V1&V2.Rims&Tyres:V1 Front 1.60x17 80/90-17 Rear 2.15x17 100/80-17 5 spokes cast while V2 Front 1.85x17 90/80-17 Rear 2.50x17 130/70-17 5 double spokes.

V1 rear straight seats V2 split seats with LED tailights which look like R6.Engine spec still same 17ps@8500rpm/15nm@7500rpm only V2 got retune ECU mostly for brisk acceleration.V1 swing arm is straight type while V2 is banana type alloy swingarm.Weight for V1 is 120kg dry and for V2 is 126kg!.V1 0-100kmh is 13s while V2 claimed 12.2s and top speed for V1 is 140-145kmh and V2 is 150kmh.Latest info I got V2 Air hose is much bigger than its old brother!Think this answer to CBR150R which claimed 150kmh for top and 12.6s for 0-100kmh.On paper stated CBR150 got 18.5ps@9000rpm and 14.5nm@8000rpm.

Wonder if the V2 rims can fit into V1?I did enquire Racing Boy for 1.85x17&2.50x17 but they dun have plan to do for R15 yet.But got saw I custom Malaysian FZ15i using this kind of rims with full fairing before.

Btw just back from Thai trip and visit the agent for Kawasaki bikes.Next year KRR150 ceased production and will be replace by what else 150cc 4 stroke EFI.Bike Will be much bigger than its 2 strokes.

Yes, true. Most of the class 2 bikes have smaller bike as transport bike coz there are days we wanna take a chill pill, relax and ride mah.. Cannot everyday clock miles on the bigger bike. Yep.. I haven't got a transport bike also.. So, maybe, the R15V2 though it looks like so many parts being copied from different class of the other bigger brothers.
