Today i saw a Red R15 parked at the multistorey carpark near the canteen at my workplace, quite new with a P Plate de.. anyone from here? cannot say the exact location cos a bit sensitive.. West Area..

got one question for all r15 riders... recently my bike i can hear very soft squishing sound when i'm at around 3rd, 4th or 5th gear --> between 4000 to 5000 RPM... did anyone of you heard those sound before?

 

it will sound when i'm throttling... dunno isit knocking/pinging of my ignition. but i pump ron95 shouldn't have pinging mah. =\

My 1st FC.

 

Managed to get 382km with 9.5L of petrol.

Hence, current FC; 1L = 40km.

still got 1 bar left as seen in pic.

Most of the time i pump Ron98, unless some days when petrol reali ex den pump95.

any R15 riders got same experience with me? i'm actually suspecting is petrol grade too low that cause the pinging, BUT singapore ron95 so high liao. dun tell me r15 need 98!? lol!

For new bike start will the best petrol... if not next time hard to upgrade....

V-power are for extreme performance engine. our R15 only have compression ratio of 10.4, totally useless for the additional octane rating...

 

i doubt 95 will have pinging too. that's why i wanna ask if any other R15 riders taking 95 and facing such problems?

The yamaha manual did not state which octane rating is recommended. that's why must try and error liao...

my bike once in a while have strange noise..

sometimes front wheel got squeaky sound

sometimes chain got strange sound after my speed is 50km/hr

sometimes got other noise from the bike, maybe is the pinging u all are talking abt..

sometimes it's smooth and doesnt make any strange noise..

 

i'm using esso 5000 since day 1.

 

now i heck care already, just ride n pretend nv hear or feel.. haha.. as long as i feel the bike nv wobble/vibrate too much, shd be ok ba.. zzzzz

hi guys my bike also got that noise .. but it from the front wheel... when you apply front brake no sound ... release the brake lever.. the noise come again.. i am using shell 98 mix wit v-power...
