sorry man wat is ron 95? what is ron?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

The most common type of octane rating worldwide is the Research Octane Number (RON). RON is determined by running the fuel in a test engine with a variable compression ratio under controlled conditions, and comparing the results with those for mixtures of iso-octane and n-heptane.

for us who is not into the detail its like a context then u see the numerical number u wan lah. for 150cc maybe minimum is only 92 petrol can move liao. like certain vehicle might have a higher minimum number like 95 or maybe even 97 too. its the MINIMUM, so anything higher is no issue but more $$.

call up individual to check up their quote, dun go through agent/shop to know the exact price. just tell them brand new bike lor. juz quote them ur particulars and u will know the price instantly.

i got another thinking not sure does it work, if expensive u pay first lor. if u found a cheaper, buy the new one then terminate current insurance as refund likely to be pro-rated, so at most few days to mth of $x price. that is how insurance work when u sell bike, so i think it might work? never try before as my bike insurance restricted to ntuc cos of lower price.

i believe all of u bot 2nd party insurance.

1st party onli covered by NTUC, wic i bot frm. LL coz other companies dun take 1st party ... dat was like 7mths ago, not sure now lah.

Guys... i tink all of u should ride the bike till after run in then judge the tires... Yamaha Japanese review that the stock tires are good enough for even tracks.

http://www.yamaha-motor-india.com/r15/index.html

Tires are most slippery before running in. MRF is very well known in the world for their quality except that their main production are not motorcycle tires...

i'm still using stock tires and surprisingly it gets stickier after every ride... up to u all to believe... =) :thumb:

http://www.yamaha-motor-india.com/r15/index.html

Quoted : "One surprise was its tires. Honestly speaking, there's a major difference between tires used on commercial and racing bikes, and i was kind of anxious thinking when these would give out. but i could feel that these gripped solidly. i was surprised by the quality"
