On the CTE towards AYE, the long left hander between the 2 tunnels and entering the second tunnel (the one exit to dholby ghaut), how low and how fast is it possible to take the R15? anyone tried to max it there before?

 

I was trying out at 98 kph on lane 1, didn't go that low cuz still no confidence yet, first time riding sports bike and this kkb white colour kia tailgating me on the bend and forced me to change lane siam to lane 2 to let him pass before he crashes into me.... -_-

 

You 98 his 1.6 only 85-89kmh,Netherless he shouldn't tailgate u also.Singaporean bad habit die hard.See super 4 or super bike he dare tail or not.These kind of morons deserved to be squashed by heavy vehicles

It's possible. Consider that V1 does have alot of toys and share many things in identical. Basic first, the machine itself is well tuned (as for V2 too) and balance (which I must say V2 is a little more loopsided and too streesful on the back and hands).

Believe it or not.. V1 top out most of the time and generate higher output and performance than any V2, period. Tested and proven.

V2 like wise is so expensive (OTR 8.3 to 9 excld insurance) just because the demand is high cause:

- Cheaper than those aprillia counter-parts

- R6 tail.. why not?

- Dependable mark of the "R"

14K for that bike... I feel it's a learning curve la. If you like to sell it off for 10K is not possible. My suggestion is for you to hold out your bike till you have a class 2 bike, minimum. Pump a little over 200 (factor in insurance savings, petrol, roadtax and etc) a month more and you find yourself having a class 2 for weekend and additional reliable efficient bike for the rest of the time.

2nd hand V2 is out there and 2 of my classmate sold it off at a great loss.. Both FBG 2xxx range. Full stock (no airfilter, no bar-end.. simply what originally comes).

 

RVF.. generally a very risky bike. Ask any RVF rider and they will tell you 8 out of 10 bound to have lots of problem as soon as it heats up. 1 out of 10 allows you to ride as much as you wish but the wear and tear is very very heavy. The remaining 1 will be the layup kind; tow to track and finish there.

6.5K for one of sure is as good as I pay over 9K for a FBA S4 spec III... Over-price.

Dear friends riding R15,

 

I've recently bought a V1 R15 from a direct owner and I would like to seek your opinion on 3 things:

 

1 - The keyhole protector latch on the fuel tank is loose. It's not closing properly. Anybody knows where to fix this?

 

2 - The wiring at the handlebar area seems to be exposed and messy. I tried to find a latch behind the fairing to hook the wires up but there isn't any latch to support them. Is this normal? If not, where can I get it fixed?

 

3 - Does any of you guys encounter the situation of the engine being cut off when you are slowing down and prepare to stop? What happens was that I tried to accelerate after slowing down but the power is being cut off and I've to press the electric start button to start again.

3. Because the speed is too slow in that gear then engine stalled. Usually 4k rpm above can shift up. If rpm drop below 3k rpm, your must downshift or clutch-in. below 2k rpm, do not fully release clutch since idle speed is about 1.3k.

I once ask a technician about the fuel tank cover latch not closing properly and he said have to change the whole thing... But I think it's just a mechanism problem.

Indonesia enthusiast spotted a R250 making test run.Sources say its a parallel twin cylinder 250cc bike.Haiya now 250cc-400cc all parallel twin no more 4 cylinders inline.Honda latest CBR400R/CB400R/CB400X all parallel twin also.Advantage is low end power meaning the acceleration and mid range power is way better than Honda Super four and Suzuki GSR400

Personally heard of juzzwheels, aunty and 219.

Relatively comparing, how do you gauge a salon's service? You would had a good haircut from A and I maybe have a F up haircut by B. I can only say it's the hands that deals with it. Basically all of them does good job on stickers. good quality sticker used and manual hand sticking after dissemble and assembly.

 

Had mixed reviews so cannot personally guarantee you any place. Price wise, juzzwheels have a lead btw.

The parallel twin you were talking about are all 500's. CB400 is the last of it's kind after using the same tech for CB1300.
