Nope! Its not illegal to change your fuel tank to r15. But mind you that you might suffer a little imbalance since the r6 tank is much lighter and broader. I tried adjusting my chassis and fitted a ducati frame and a 800cc sohc triple valve custom engine from truimph. Bet im the fastest r15 around with 0 to 100km/hr under 2.3s. You might also consider installing the air port at the front of your r15 head so that it might cool down your fuel tank. Cause r6 tank is fuqing hot!

Oh oh! Dony forget to raise your rear shocks and throw in a 190/50 just to prevent flat tires. Best of luck!

Generally speaking, there is no legal pipe for R15 V2. And yes, many places will bait you that Yoshimura will be coming out with a pipe for V2.

Let me tell you this, IT WILL NEVER BE POSSIBLE.

(and yes, you can show me the Yoshimura picture with the pipe fitted on to it. Photoshop, how is it not possible?) Cause the folks at Sin Ming somehow decided that V2 as a rising trend does not deserve a pipe that is hollow and that good. Unless some hero decided to pay hefty sum to get it inspected and pass.

 

Moving on... for that price range, you will hardly find any bike that falls within that category. Brand new will be come 8.7K onwards, Cheapest 8.5K (HLC as for what I've heard) excld insurance.

A typical 2011 V2 with the riding trend will be mark up..

Else I would suggest you take on a brand new piece (since you want it original and stock as possible) and bare a little more then 4K or loan in straight into a year or 2. Best of luck!
