you have a strong point there but have you ever experienced having to squeeze your brains dry with your good mates, just to think of a place to go? haha. we always have tons of people complaining and whining about being bored and nothing to do..

well, i do have experiences in the past but anymore, perhaps too busy to think of boredom nowadays. anyway, just let one decide what to do, then the rest just follow lor ..... too many brain thinking sometimes complicates matters.

 

well i think this might be a place whereby they probably can find some good ideas on what to do and where to go with their companies of friends.

at the end of the day, it is all in the mind. some people find being alone at home boring. i quite enjoy it sometimes. watching tv, reading a book or a magazine, writing up my blog. it is a very precious time. i also enjoy talking to people when i'm outside. when i was at bukit timah hill the other morning, there were some others there exercising. striking up a conversation with them was very enlightening.

 

i'm curious which of the things sound desperate to you and why...care to share?

 

like going to the petrol stations and talking with the pump attendant?

yea but so far not for SBF yet too... i believe there might be updates of any upcoming small events that some people are just too busy to realise it ever exist in Singapore. lol.

U need to know urself and what makes u feel fun or bored. Simple things like having a stroll alone may seem boring to some but not for those who find enjoyment from it. Indeed our island is like a fishbowl compared to the open world out there but i believe that there are some things here that can actually make u feel fulfilling to do. Like scubasimon, i enjoy photographing and riding to ulu places in SG. Some good places to ride in sg cannot be undertaken by the public...ie:only during reservist. Poyan is an area of singapore that the public have not seen but is very damn beautiful. I work within the energy sector and some places i have been to which is not open to public makes for good trail rides and also photographing. What makes me find enjoyment in this boring singapore? Well, im learning to cook Jamie Oliver style and also finding out about how SG was b4 our generation.

there aint so much lucky people like you and photography is also quite an expensive hobby to invest too.. for findings of how Singapore was like before our generations, you probably need to go to museums? haha. for more info, you would have to hunt down Sang Nila Utama. LOL~

its called people watching. I find it great to people watch in other countries. So much character, so much culture, so much history. Take photos and maybe strike up a conversation if possible. Singapore? pffft, the only thing i like to watch here is taxi drivers buang a tree.
