Kia Rio HB 1.4M or Hyundai Getz 3dr 1.6M

i got these two hatchbacks in mind. the getz is cheaper den the rio.

but i still not sure which one should i get. haiz dilemma. any recommendations bros? and explain why u will choose dat particular car, eg. fuel efficency, power, outlook, handling etc. please enlighten.

5 door is better than 3 door... both car are not performance car so no need to look at power all those.

small cc or big cc cars more prone to overheating in heavy traffic?

my small cc means 1.3 - 1.5L, big cc means 1.6 - 2.4L.

Lets say no MPV or SUV those oversize-body over-weight under-power ratio, just the normal sedan or hatch type of cars as comparison weighing around 1ton to 1.6ton only.

Vmax is likely contender for overheating, saw it twice at causeway, the coolant not enuff to contain the heat, and it just burst out.

to compare korean car between hyundai n kia, i can say hyundai is better.. if u r going for better performance u cn get the getz(1.6 do have 4 -door). if u r going for the outlook, rio hb got a better outlook...

 

hyundai body is heavy n good for long distance... it wont damage much if u meet wif a minor accident to compare to some japanese car..

 

theres an advantages n dis advantages for both of these car..

I haven't driven the Rio or owned it before.. 1.6 Getz no longer in on sale here.. Only 1.1M and 1.4A.. If u get a 2nd hand 1.6 for a few K above paper value I guess it'll be a good buy.. Interior wise Rio much nicer,Getz is very dull.. FC 1.6M Getz is about 12km/l,I'm getting 17km/l for my 1.1M.. of cos FC varies from driver to driver.. It's a reliable car.. I've owned a Vios and Honda City(2005 model) before but I like the Getz a lot more..

for a pre-used 1.6M price will be at range of 14k - 16k for an 06 facelift model.. check it out at sgcarmart..
