sigh...same problem again.....went back to HL juz nw.....dey change a sparkplug for me.....dammed...i gonna condemn yamaha for life....my 1st yamaha n it give the same problem again n again...ix my working bike man...how to work when ix keep spoiling....shld hv get a wave instead

change to g-power plug

check exhaust and petrol valve clearance

fire valve = 10mm

exhaust valve = 15mm

 

from thailand the tappet is tight

u must loose it

tappeet last time loosen liao...the mech say better not change to sparkplug frm ahboy...cos easy to burnt oso....made in m'sia...he change 1 for me and gave me a spare 1 too....try 1st c hor lor

3. carburator

4. plug coil

5. valve clearance

6. petrol use RON 95 not ron 92 or ron98....mikuni card 17.1 not good for it

7. use caltex ron 95 not mobil coz its unleaded. BAD

8. throttle needle in carburator. put to medium . No.2 position . default settings

9. use sintetik . not mineral oil. 10w-40 API SL

haha....happen to me many times liao... send to HL send to till sianz...nw when ever cant start , take out the plug scrub abit push back in tightly try a few times den can start liao...ix wasting tim sending in...unless dey hv a recall for all sparkz...maybe we shld get more sparkz ridier wf the problem n make a complain!!

hi me also just bough sparkz.Went to Thailand and try spark there b4 and the local there told me tat the bike has a lot of unnecessry stuff on the bike which is of no use,wat 'he' the owner didnt tell forgot to ask. But manage to find out from the boss of excel cycle tat he say to remove fuel pump,filter and some others so the bike more better cost he had race the bike in kallang b4 but I forgot wat . Will update you guys once i go for the 500km service and remove the 'so call no use' stuff.

For ur info ,use to ride wave for 1 yr plus but always having problem with the valve thing.

my wave is almost 2 yrs still ok leh....

valve clearance always ticking sound ajust already but very soon tick again if don ajust power drop le.
