how mileage petrol u get in wave

iu know that wave - keihin carb better then sparki -mikuni vm17.1

Sorry i never track the mileage cause my style of riding is hard riding(extreme riding)! Ya Honda Wave use KEIHIN which have a better airflow than Mikuni!

new advise

use semi synthetic oil

i tested 3 times

every 1000km i changed

used shell semi sytnehteic

RM20 from JB

the output

early morning kick start is super smooth.

no need choke

no need open throttle

one kick it starts.

but with mineral oil base , it reacts differently. THE CLUTCH PLATE IS not smooth.

Try it for 2000km then tell the result

u no regret.

wow, not been in this forum for a damn long time n can see how this thread has grown...been riding sparkz for 1 yr plus oredi..yeah kinda agree wit some of the comments..backfires, difficult to start..yea still experiencing them today...but one thing to note is dat u need to regularly use the bike..if the bike's left to idle, unused for one full day, u gonna hav a bit of a prob starting up the next day...usually hav to resort to kick starting...my riding style kinda xtreme..full throttle most of the time, 110-120 km/h, but then i believe our 110kmh is equivalent to super4's 100kmh..change engine oil every 5000km..together wit spark plugs...yea u can say i'm the lazy type of rider...but hey dis sparkz of mine still can tahan me for 1 yr plus oredi haha :thumb:

wash bike = RM5

change oil semi synthtic shell = RM20

checked air filter = sparkz using paper filter type like in cars not sponges. clean it

Cover with thick masking tape all around the cover /cowling...preventing vibration. The mechanic did for RM3 ...and add vouchers for all screws. now my bike is free from vibration above 90km/h

Full tank caltex techron RON 97 = RM5.20

changed DOT 4 brake fluid use BOSCH brake fluid

dei boss,

you will not see anything outside.

you have to open the covers. inside the cover you will open another cover. then mechanic put tapes all around inside. small layer. then cover up the cowling.

later he fix back

u will not notice anything from outside

Just for your opinion: do you think Malaysia made kupkias are better than Thailand made kupkias?

Posted

good question kaig

lets take yamaha as an example

yamaha lagenda - malaysia hong leong

yamaha spark z - thailand yamaha

both bike design by japanese yamaha corp.

the difference are :-

QC

price

parts

stickers design

They same in

materials

parts (engine)

Yamaha lagenda is different from spark z , it does not have full cover box for chain drive but sparkz has.

The winner is malaysian product.

Reason: QC

their QC stages perform better and has multiple dept for QC

while yamaha sparkz does not provide much QC. Their product suffer after market .

Lets take spark z.

from this forum we know that spark z suffer a lot of problems.

But in m'sia yamaha lagenda has little problems.

But both country suffer carburator problem - morning hard to start , must pull choke. why?

coz both carburator mikuni come from japan.

Lets take honda wave 125

honda wave - thailand honda

honda wave - boon siew honda malaysia

In terms of beauty I prefer malaysian honda wave 125

In terms of QC and after market , thailand honda wins

while m'sian boon siew honda wave, we can sh*t on them
