Is there any method of removing big pieces of sticker from fairings other then using a hard card slowly removing/hair dryer/diesol?

 

Whats the best method with least damaging? thanks all~

 

bro, i think you can try using the sticker removal. can buy from most car accessories mart. quite useful.

anybody got lobang for non reflective stock mirror? i cant stand the car beams when i looked into my mirrors.

. Ahaha thanks thanks..it was original red..all i did was took off stickers.. Hmm whats ur colour? Maybe we can jus swap our fairings ahaa.. Cos i plannin do full wrap soon. Sticker beter den spray.. Acts like protector. Anyway i not sure any spray workhops that r all.. My last bike i jus use newspapers n $8 spray can ahah

Hello R1 riders,

 

I'm new to this thread but eager to be part of the family. Hehe...

 

Just passed my class 2 TP test last week and going to buy R1 as my first class 2 bike.

 

I'm planning of buying R1 year 2012 and later. Any recommendation which shop I should go if I wanna buy new R1? I have called Hong Leong the official Yamaha distributor and it costs about sgd31.5k with akrapovic exhaust. Do you think it's a good deal? I'm wondering as I notice there are also some other shops which put the pricing at 27k for a new R1, which is cheaper than Hong Leong??? Any advise?

 

If anyone of you want to sell your 2012 model, do let me know. If the price is right I will buy it from you... :-)

ahha ye..ull get used to it...at first I was very excited to be part of the R1ders but slowly its like dead.. cos most of them have their own r1 groups already which was made years ago.. so they just hangout with themselves. recently alot new R1ders but not much people keen in heading out tgt...so ye..mostly its just here for qns and stuffs... Try googling if you face problems or put here..im here quite frequent..tho im new still learning..i will help if able to. so far I just googled my way through solving all my R1 problems since i got the bike . Cheers

Oh that's too bad. To be frank, I'm planning to buy R1 and I hope can meet some buddies here to help each other and join the gathering/ touring. Thanks for the reply thou. Hehe.

 

Btw, which year R1 u recommend to buy? Any thing that I should look out particularly for this bike when buying 2nd hand one? :cheeky:

the reason why this site is quiet cause it's rumoured to be haunted and hence it's like a ghost city .... try not to come to this site after midnight else the person will have the worst nightmare of his life or some say, the curse ....
