btw guys, i hav a change of heart... now it's either R1 or S1000RR. I got ask shops around, most of them said R1 is already outdated, engine lifespan not very long... etc... and the reason of 2nd choice; S1000RR is because I felt in love with its outlook. The more I look at it, the more I felt in love to it... :cheeky:

R1 outdated?well to start of with we have our man Valentino Rossi on board yamaha.and he rode a wonderful race.nx it's down to personal preference on where yr heart lies.followed by engine life span is how u actually use yr bike eg.track usage and maintainance of coz will have a bearing on it.there are plenty of older r1 still burning the roads.so consider all these factors In too.

I suppose you have quite some spare cash. Ultimately. BMW bikes can only be service by BMW machine. To what extend I'm not very sure but one thing Im sure is that parts doesn't readily comes in and it might take a whole deal of a time to get your servicing done.

Hmmm... i'm chasing my dream now. been thinking a lot recently. i dun think i will ride sport bike when i'm getting old. hence, i wan to ride my dream sport bike while i still can... :cheeky:

 

Got ask PML, there's warranty of 2 yrs or first 100k mileage whichever comes first. So, if buy new one should be quite safe bah.

 

Anyway, tomorrow may go to hong leong n check out the R1. i still haven't gave up on R1 thou... :cheeky:

39.5k for machine price, if include everything like COE, insurance etc OTR it's about 43 to 44k.

Well I am still running in.I have minimized the heat issue by adding a CF fairing near the area just below the tank where I had problems gripping the tank.after installation it is much better.well I did change quite a far bit on stuff including the brembo rcs 19.wondering next whether to do the quick shifter

Well the only pillion I will ever have will only be my wife and she is yet to get on the bike.I told her I will only pillion her once I am confident on the bike.btw guys I am torn between a new set of tyres.the shortlist are the s20 and the m5.I am looking for lasting tyres,good on dry and wet.not so much on track use.coz I need to commute from west to east.
