i got this prob b4...its the white colour conector that connects all ur wiring at the front end to the harness. one of the wire burnt out. just bypass that single wire shld be ok already. the connector is located at the front close to ur fuse box.

Indeed.....

the S1000RR tested came with DTC and ABS. That will probably cost more than 50k.

The Track is also suited for more powerful bike.

hi everyone, i've got a few questions to ask and i hope you guys can help me out.

im riding a R106 and i wanna do valve clearance+timing chain, but my question is whats the difference between a valve clearance and semi or full overhaul? should i do valve clearance only or semi / full overhaul? im doing it because of the mileage

for the suspension, is there such thing as service? or rebuilt? how much will it cost?

i wanna change my sprocket also, i heard by upsizing it, it actually increases your pick up? whats the price range for chain and sprocket? as in full package kinda thing, front and back sprocket.

im using a akra pipe, how can i tell the difference of my y-pipe whether its stock or aftermarket? i asked many bike shops but no definate answer...hmmm wher can i get my answer because i plan to get a y-pipe but im afraid im just wasting my time.i tot of doing some surgery to remove my catalyser but i don even know whether there is a catalyser anot...haiz..im so confused with what everyone is saying... someone can u pls enlighten me..

i wanna change my tyre also, any recommendations?im using diablo the normal one cos its durable, shld i change to double compound?

Thank you bros for your precious time and i hope you guys can take some time to reply me.. thankx alot=)

1) do valve clearance only when you feel that your bike is lagging/slow in response

2) Top overhaul or full overhaul is not recommended due to high millage. Reason is that opening of engine blocks and tightening may result in job not done properly (human error).

your millage may be high but as long as the previous onwer takes care of it well, should not be a problem.

3)to rebuild your suspension costs around S$280.

4)upsize your sprockets means faster pick ups but your top end will be lesser. Your speed meter will also be incurate as a result.

5)for y-pipes there is OEM and aftermarket. Aftermarket ones need no "modification" while OEM ones need if u are talking of reducing heat.

6)tyres are up to individual. If u track often, use a good pair of tyres. If not just stick to normal ones will do

What say u

valve clearance is opening the engine top block and do the necessary valve jobs only. Top/full overhaul is opening up the engine and top will be changing the gasket, piston and piston rings only if necessary.

Full overhaul will be checking everything and changing those necessary parts that has been worn out. Price wise of course full overhaul is the most expensive, top the second and valve the 3rd. But if u want to do valve clerance, i would recommend that u do a complete full overhaul to save the hassle, time, inconvenience and money.

And how do u know if the previous only takes care of it? well i would throw the question back to u. How would u know if the full/top overhaul or valve clearance, the mechanic that is doing your bike, does a good and genuine job right? :deal:

the rebuilt for rear suspension costs S$280 only excluding the front. Front only will cost around S$600+. So front and rear costs around S$900.

y-pipe wise, u park your bike, together with those who had install the y-pipe to compare if u ask me.

for tyres if u ask me, whether i track or not, i prefer to use those with good grips for safety and fun purposes :thumb:

Anyone has any idea whether Kulai nasi lemak shop will be open or close on Vesak Day???

well if i were u, i would ask those who are going recently to help ask :cheeky:
