bro sorry if i say this... bike shop can say lots of think spoilt or damage as long they can earn $$$ when u change the parts. sorry for my broken english. simple say tat if they see u not tat experience wif bike, they can carrot u jia lat jia lat one. Y is the ECU got to do wif ignition??? im curious to know tooo.

well its quite simple actually ..... ask your bike to spell the word "colour" ....

 

If it spells out "c-o-l-o-r" it is from UK. If its "c-o-l-o-u-r" its from US :angel:

You got it the other way round. Colour is UK and color is US. Can also ask the bike to spell neighbor, judgment (US) or neighbour, judgement (UK)...:angel:

anyone knows wher i can get parts for my R1? the headlight, feel like changing the headlight cos its quite dusty and look old, doesnt project a very bright colour though... the inner part(ballast) and the glass cover...

Guys can I check how many km does it takes b4 e reserve light comes out. I'm riding a 06 R1 so far for my bike once it hits 202km e reserve light will come out. Is dis normal. Pls advice. Thanks...

1st ride: Yamaha RXZ 135 - 2007 to 2009

 

2nd ride: Honda Super 4 Spec 1 - 2009 till now.....

 

3rd ride: The Speed Demon YZF R1 (06 Model) - 2010 till forever.....

actually quite hard to explain cause the fuel consumption depends on the rider's riding habits ....

 

but if lets say u never drag through the gears and ocassionally wack hard on the 6th gear, around 220km in singapore riding then reserve light will come on.

 

another factor is depends on your bike's modifications already if any ....

well from what i know, injectors wont give problems that easily ..... so maybe i suggest that u can try to do mapping on your bike which the purpose is to give your bike the best air/fuel mixture and end result is to give u the best fuel consumption rate.

202km for full tank??? hmmm mine can go 210 t0 220km full tank. cos seldom whack alr... cos work place near to my hm... so far reserve i try not looking at the A-TRIP BUT F-TRIP, can go till 50.8. proven n tested liow....

have same prob bro. nearest i went was 190 then reserve light came out. neva wack also. hmm. mine is also stock . 08 r1. hmm. if to retune hw much? or its called remapping right? where to do bros? planet mtr? hl cycle? m staying in east so convenient to go shop in eaast
