Once advice -> Avoid V-Power.

Been using it twice and I keep hitting 180km before reserve. 4 days ago, I went in 2nd Link and decided to try the Esso F1 there. Well, it went as high as 220km before reserve, way over target. Oh and forgot to mention that I even did a quick speed test (clear carbon) on the way out. So meaning it could have been higher...

So now I know. Stick with 95 or 98.

i bought 4 btls...actually the boss wanted to top up the 100ml of oil for me but i wanted the oil in the engine to be the same soo i bought the extra btl..didnt cahange my filter as i just changed during my last oil change..

should be 4 bottles. And yeah, dun do the top up. When I changed mine, I oso told him I want fresh oils. Especially since I need to fill 3.5litres (coz engine freshly reassembled).

 

Oil filter is about $16. Original Suzuki one.

Oh BTW, his recitifier is damn cheap. When I went down that time, there was a Malay guy in a yellow Y2K SRAD750 having electrical problems. As expected, it was his rec. The boss ordered one and quoted $180. Curious, I asked him, for TL1000R, how much. He said the same, $180.

Wonderment! I just changed mine for $250. So now I know where to go.

great.i did the same oil change today.put in 3.4l of fuchs PRO4 15w50 with a new oil filter.

going to add in some fuel injector cleaner later when i refuel my gas tank later.

my idling is going hay-wire man...need to do a synchronisation on them..any place to intro??i checked with Sanfu and they qouted me 90 bucks..not too sure if they can do it well and also the price isnt too attractive too..

let me guess...

at start up, the idling is quite high, ard 1.5K-1.6K RPM.

But after warming up for a while, and when kicked from neutral to 1st, it goes down to ard 1.1K-1.2K RPM?

well..mine is of a different case from you man...when i start my bike the rpm is like a wiper moving between 0.9k-1.2k...but once it warms up it stays at abt 1.1k to 1.3k... :giddy:

Sanfu is situated at SHUNLI IND. Park....it is famous for using snap-on tools and i feel that the guys there are quite honest.. :smile:

well..guess "snap-on" tools are tools that kinda specially made to fix bikes...i guess...really no idea too...they are still like any ordinary bikeshops but i can see that they are pretty honest... they do quite along of big bikes too :cheeky:
