w00t!

heheh!

other than 4T, wat lube is good to use?

actually the very first mod I intended to do was a cheap but tricked up one.

was thinking of putting some hot-looking wire-mesh across the fairing holes... make it look tricky. hehehehe

but on hold coz I can't find any excellent looking mesh other than those common disposable BBQ grills...

sigh...

Those guys at TLPlanet do it and make their Tillers and Tillis looks neater

heheheheh

i use the lube motoworld selling one.15 bucks per bottle i think

i have done the grills before.u can get it in JB.those car serviceing shops

they use it for body kits

okiez.

bike back in business.

Changed new sprocks and chain.

ok ok, dun begrudge me for this.

Since I need the bike today and its damn dangerous to ride it at its present condition, had no choice but to opt for..... LAB.

Went last night and got a Vaz sprocket set (Italian-made, so sets the website). He can't get Suzuki ones as supplier closed for the day. Chain came in later this morning. DID 530 O-rings.

Changed it just now and kena scolded by the mech. "Wah, you xiao ah. Half the teeth gone still ride." Serious man. He told me dun do a 520 conversion like on my bike earlier. Its lighter but goes through your sprocket like a chainsaw. And its an AFAM gold sprocket.

I kept the sprocket. Need to take a pic and show you all. Its chillingly similar to my 3rd & 4th gear....

Anywayz, trying out an odd sprocket combo, 17/40. Let's see how the bike handles and fuel consumption goes....

17/39 if I'm not wrong.

A lot of Tillers at TLPlanet recommend modding to 16/41. Still checking why.

Let's see how 40 works. Ride was smoother at lower RPMs (riding below 4K RPM tis time) compared to previous setup.

i am also using vaz. not bad. seems that the oririginal very expensive

oddly enuff, the reason why my NTUC insurance is cheap coz.... Suzuki parts are supposed to be cheap.

Yet rite now, things seem to point otherwise. $50+ for a new clutch lever? :giddy:

Guess its the 1 up at the rear that makes travelling at low gears smoother....how abt the fuel consumption  any difference?how much does a VAZ front sprocket cost...using VAZ at the rear too..

Front 17 - $28

Rear 40 - $38

Chain - $105

All charges inclusive of labor.

But best if you come early in the morning or, if just purchasing only, late nite just before he close. Can negotiate and bargain a bit lah. I didn't feel like bargaining just now. Just wanted to get it done....
