i place my hammies at e balcony, cool and nt under sunlight.

 

he was still veri active when i last carried him. but i switched cages between e 2 hammies in e afternoon. mayb he dun get used to the new enviroment.. n passed away? possible?

 

or died of dehydration as the cage i put him in dun hav water provided?

 

but after i put him in e cage, i did gav him lil vege. vege contains vitamins n h20 too.. he had it. or he kanna poisoned by e vege? bt other hammies r alrite.

 

at nite, i wanna feed e hammies, den saw him not moving already.

 

by the way, i got a new pack of food for em last 2 wks. by tis time, they shld hav gt used to the new taste rite?

 

i m puzzled n sad. did i kill him?

Yes, you are right, veg contain vit C and water, so impossible die of dehydration. Poison by the veg also impossible as the other hammies are alright.

 

I realise that hamsters just eat whatever we gave them. So I dont think there is any problem with changing new food for them. When they are hungry, they just whacked whatever there is in their cage.

 

I dont think you killed him. Maybe he is really sick. Die of heart attack maybe.. Or fall from heights?

 

When you see the hammy not moving, did you see his eyes are half opened or closed? When you pick him up, is the body cold and stiff? Hamsters will hibernate, but quite impossible as they only hibernate when temperature is 5 degree celcius and below.

If you realise ur hamster become very sian and lazy to move even if u threaten it or what, it has lost its will to live and will die soon. My hamster was so badly beaten up after a fight, that she lost interest in everything. Then I made a mini bed made of cotton for her for her to sleep, then she died few hours later.... :weep:

I wish to know what God has planned for me...

Haha..u misunderstand lah.Wat I meant is carry them,not carry them ard lah.At home only lah...haha...I wont bring my hamster out. :sweat:
