Im age above 31, my almost 5YO ST1100 cost me S$433 after 20% NCD discount & GST.

 

road tax for 6mths is S$171.00.

 

ya im kinda interested...

can i check wif u guys how much is e road tax and insurance for st11 roughly?

Hi guys i bought a st11 a year ago, now i find my front suspension like becoming very soft, somtimes after rain i press down i can see some water coming out of it. Must i service the suspension already?

Yes please do.Its obvious.It will set you back around 110-130 +/-.Change the fork seals too....

i have one question hoping to be answered by anyone with similar experience. i currently own a ST11 but it's still under installment with a bike shop. can i still sell the bike and if so, how?

U have to read the T&C of the loan properly.

Some of them carry a charge if u wana transfer the loan.

 

The easiest way is to pay up the loan first, then do the transfer and reloan if necessary. However, some T&C states an early settlement fee as well...

They will replaced the fork oil and check the front shocks for any problems.The fork seals could have signs of wear and tear or bubbling around the edge so thats where water might have seeped in where your oil might come from..Can try any reputable shop or your own mech to check first....Loois..Sanfu or Southern at B.Merah.

Even if the shop are willing to allow you to settle for another bike in another shop or their shop...you have to remember the amount which you left on your first bike will be taken into your new bike....

Not ready they will change the fork oil or the fork seals some time the chrome pipes need to change too beco of wear off. check with own mechanic first very expansive both cost u abt $300. mi change before :faint:

No problem rideral.ST is one of the most reliable tourers around other than Goldwing which are produced by Honda....The new recent addition to the touring line are the STX and the GL1800...so pick your choice..in the mean time have fun with your current bike..

Hi all,

I'm selling my very old st1100, just give me a reasonable price and I'll let it go, because I'm going overseas soon for work. Its still in good condition and I'm still riding it everyday, serviced regularly.

 

Model : ST 1100 R

Manufacture Date : 1993

Original Registration Date : 1994

COE Expiry Date : 30/11/2012

Color : White

Mileage : 185K (I have not tour / go Malaysia for the last 2.5 years)

Accessories : F&N Filter, Voltermeter, top box

Road Tax Till : 10/4/2008

 

Front and back Tires finishing, so need to change. Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Plugs is almost used for 5k. So if you get it, you can get all these changed to those that you like.

 

Timing Belt about 45k/3.5yr. Coolent is about 7k/1yr. Full service record since 2004 can be provided if required.

 

sms me at 9734-9751 to discuss or arrange for viewing. Selling cheap as if can't sell, going to just push to bike shop by end of the month and take whatever they offer. Hope someone willing to continue take good care of this trusted ride.

most shops r able to undertake this simple replacement work, try ask around if u do not have any reliable mech, compare the price.

last year I almost trade-in my ST for a STX at an impulse movement, I changed my mind after I carefully think about how Im gona use, lucky me..... I saved up instead.! :D

 

my advise to u is.... know ur needs 1st.
