Before i was riding a yellow planet (sold to a lady), then changed to y2k aprilia (sold to a young chap)... Then i gave up riding as i went to get a car... So ive been driving since 2003...

 

Now wanted to get a bike just to use it when i have some trips on my own... Not with the family...like when i go to my basketball games, tennis games, etc. But what is it gonna be????

 

Ive seen a very tempting MadAss with a very competitive price... But my friends told. E that they dont see me riding such bike.. So now confused on whether i should just get this madass or buy an rs125 again...

 

Anyone out there wants to share their 2 cents??

get a scooter. it seems like you want it for comfort and kopi session. Scoot can also use for shopping trip like going to market and such as it has large storage.

 

Just my suggestion la cos i see your need should be of this kinna cat.

get the kind of bike that you wanna ride. don't listen to what others say...unless you feel they know you better than yourself.

 

since you rode bikes before, you already know what the different bikes feel like. shouldn't be that tough a decision, no? so maybe you should buy a mito haha!

get a class 2a/2 bike lah since u rode 2b before

All of the above ideas are great and will probably get you in the right direction. Ebay is good ONLY if you really know what you want, know the value of bikes out there, and get a honest seller. Otherwise, go visit your local bike shop (the more the better) and get a good idea of what is out there. The 2008 models are now in the shops and a lot of 2007 models will be getting the clearance tags put on them. That may be some places to find a good deal.

from what i heard, madass build quality is not fantastic
