anyways...riding in Malaysia is nothing different from Singapore...

only that in Singapore,it's more transparent....and there's no where you can complaint...

Just think it through for a moment....why we all buy big touring bikes and go ride across the border?sightseeing, speeding(bullshite if you say you don't ride pass 100km/hr at the NSH)...try do that in Singapore, you get demerit and fine...and how far are you able to constantly ride at that speed before you either came to a traffic jam?

ok,even if you don't speed in Singapore, can you put on illegal exhaust system as loud as they can, from akra, yoshi, chances are you get stop and fine a huge sum of $500...it's like a slap on the face rite?

Ride around Singapore during the weekdays and night around City area,or outskirts on CTE,AYE,ECP,sure got ERP from early morning to late nights...Imagine,since JB is city, and Gelang Patah Town, got ERP....

This whole debate, will be no end...just put it this way, would you rather ride and rot in our little dot,or,compromise with those kopi money which, not everytime you chop passport, those mofos will be waiting right infront macam toll gantry...

just my 20cent...

this I agree to a certain extend too, but just that this time very obviously they try to find ways to get $$$ rather than I did anything wrong like speeding or something that piss me off...haiz just my luck, at least I did some 'good deed' by helping him with the coming holiday...haha

Perhaps next time you can try taking down their names or ID to commend them for doing a "good" job. Try to be as sarcastic as possible and say you want to write in to their bosses to "praise" them. Of course take out a piece of paper and action a bit. This will scare them a bit.

Try not to go in alone. At least 2 persons ya.

just my 20cent...

The different is S'pore & Malaysia is that if u broke a law, u can get

away by paying them 'coffee money' in Malaysia, unlike S'pore where

as u will faced the music, a heavy shxx one at time. But is tis case,

hsphalt is totally being riped-off by those those jackaxx......

What on earth is OUR S'PORE log card got anything to do with those

monkeys???

They jz want u to pay them tat all even at RM$20 is a shame.......

Personally i love travel to Malaysia but by stationing themselves jz

infront of their custom is damn sick... Just imagine u r back after a

gd trip & jz abt to exit Malaysia & return hm... being stop & forced

to pay for something u NEVER DONE WRONG.... is really a sick way

to show how much 'righteous' their uniformed grp hv.

Btw last wk i hv being pulled-out jz b4 the custom too, im using my mobile

so im cool to be ticketed w/o any complain cos indeed is my fault, but while

waiting to be issue a ticket... hehehehe.... tat 'monkey' dont seem to be

able 'to locate his pen'.... hehehehe...... than i asked him... 'coffee $$$???'

He wanted $100, saying tat the compounded amt will be RM$200, but aft

i told him i hv lot of frnz here & the compounded amt is RM$150 not RM$200

... he kept silent first & later state bcos of tis mth is Ramadan... the amt

went up??!!?? Them i told him RM$50 if not issue me summon.

Wow..... he 'ok ok ok'.... bloody hell but again is my fault im cool abt it

but is the excuse they used is 'wat the hell'??? Cant use Ramadan as an

excuse to collect coffee money as it is giving a very wrong impression of

the meaningful propose of Ramaden.

no more logcards for new bikes. tell them everything is computerised...no need for hardcopies.

they should have a report of a stolen vehicle (same plate and description as yours) before asking to prove that it is yours.

in that case, they should ask for proof of purchase for the handphone i'm carrying!

I think there is nothing wrong with the festives but the police, hope we can keep to that so as not to offend our muslim friends.

It has nothing to do with festives, but this corrupt police thing is really sick, each time they stop you, obviously for money.

I ever drive along North South Highway and I knew I am within the 110km/h, and was flagged down at a road block. Signal to the side, and the TP came and blah blah blah....I gave him the licence but he kept blah blah blah....told him I did not speed and if his partner caught me, then I will take the ticket. He asked "are sure you did not speed?"...I said "no"....and he said"okie, go" and rush to the next car stopped behind me.

I think if they want to give summon, they need to produce the speed camera photo to be able to fine us. Well, I got off with that.
