Boon, dun poison us can? Now make us wanna quit our job & just go riding hahaha. The original yamaha panniers are the nicest panniers to put on a TDM. Very intergrated like the FJR. Clean mounts too. Down side is that it cost a bomb. HL has sold 1-2 sets but I've not met owners with them yet...maybe low profile or dun surf net hahaha.

i would like to know also man...

i tried fiddling it long time ago but didnt really feel any difference so i just heck it but continue burning rubber at every traffic light..

I'm no guru regarding this. I've not fiddled with my settings. From what I gather so far, all 900s come with different settings due to manufacturing tolerances...piston rings etc yada yada. So its set at factory (presumably) optimally for each individual TDM. My take is such: As long as it runs fine at its current settings, just leave it alone. Avoid going by 'feeling' to gauge if setting A is better then setting B. Unless you wanna dyno your TDM each time you change the settings so as to get more objective results.

Yappiez, how on earth u burn rubber ah? Your TDM so 'POWER' ah?

The rest..how? Lelong my H&B side pannier rack :cheer:

Yup. You are rite edward. The settings are done at the Yamaha factory. Just came back from HL. One of the mechanics said they can find out for us if the mixture is too lean or too rich (can be judged from the colour of your exhaust pipes). Also, Bob said one shop is able to do it for $45.

ROADKILL!

Today I hit a bird while travelling to work.

Was travelling quite slowly but still gave me a shock. The bird should be ok. I hope.

Luckily the impact area was not my head but the headlight area of the bike.

First reaction was to close my eyes in case it hit my face.....

Have you hit anything alive before? What was your reaction?

Posted

ouch! it is a pigeon? they are the only birds i know who flies into the paths of vehicles..

i hit a cat once..although technically it rolled over to my bike after being hit by another bike in front of me..it dashed out from the side of the road and i felt something sickeningly hard at my footpeg..

just feel sorry for it thats all..it's not our fault...

Was mesmersised by new TDM seen at Hong Leong. Has anyone bought this bike. Is the price 18k OTR? Need some reviews. Wat's the diff between this bike parallel twin engine compared to other v-twin?

Guys, wondering if anyone is interested in my EBC-HH (FA252HH) brake pads for the front? Was fitted in my Fazer (same blue dot Sumitomo caliper) for

No stressful riding was done and the pads are probably barely or maybe not even bedded in yet. I would expect 98% or more life in them still.

2 pairs (4 pads) to let go for $100. MO price is $56+/pair and shops selling $60-70/pair.

I just bought this bike 1 week ago. It's real fun n handling is good too. The engine sound a 'lil bit rough though unlike inline engine which is smooth. My experience it's a great bike.
