Problem : change spocket size frm 42 to 45,6krpm speed only 90+/- and having some vibration problems.

thanks snowparang!! btw, today i notice one thing...at 5krpm,my speed was at 80km/h..throttle a bit more to,let's say,5.5krpm..my speed was still at 80km/h and struggling to increase..do u have any idea? btw i Just changed my clutch plate few months back..could be is clutch slipping at higher speed? And moreover,at low speed, when i pull the clutch lever at where the clutch is discon/con(a bit more will be half clutch)..i experience rattling sound from the front spocket..

I changed the chain partly bcos of the rattling sound i had previously, asked bike shop, they tell me front spocket "ah bas" liao..now i changed liao...still have this problem but no as serious as i had previously, this time round the sound was softer..but it is still bothering me..

Bcos 180bucks to me is no joke man...

pyro13 - if u wanna, u can go Ubi's Planet Motor,i think they have second hand Showa suspension..both Version S's and Vtec's,1 pair each. Selling at 300 bucks.

For ya info, rebuilding the rear shock at BikeLab is around 250+/-..this price is i happen to read in the forum, not sure if it is the exact price..to me,i think its not worth it. Or u can try aftermarket Gazi shock, which i am currently using..bought new at 200bucks.

If u r asking abt front suspension,i think its abt 90-120bucks to service...

I dont tink the guel guage is accurate... mine shows reserve even before travelling 200km... but i can ride till 370 or more then hit reserve... Tilt left, the needle goes reserve, tilt right the needle goes up... yeah, or is it just my bike like that haha.

Well, speed and rpm is not always 100% correlated. I guess it's normal. You can try: on downslope at 5k rpm are you slightly faster than 80 km/h? Sorry but I still doesn't have a good explanation for this, maybe it need some time for the speed sensor on the front wheel or speedometer to register the speed increase.

As for the sound, my guess is that it's always been there. Super 4 has noisy chains though I'm not sure why. When you clutch your engine is at idling I guess. This is when you bike is the most quiet and yet all the parts are moving (wheel, chain etc) and hence you can hear the sound of chain/sprocket. Should be normal but best is to comapre with another super 4. I use this method to detect abnormal noises too.

As for clutch slip, the easiest way is to use first gear. Find an empty road, gun all the way first gear to 13K rpm. If you feel there's torque and the speed increases all over the rev range I think it's alright. Anyway it's new clutch plates, shouldn't slip. On my 2 stroke bike clutch slip is very obvious cos when the valve opens the rpm jumps up but the speed remains the same.

Hi guys,

Just bought a VER S. Will like to check with the pro here on the capacity of the fuel tank the spec of tire should use.

Case 1

Fuel needle pointing reserve, went top up and manage to fill 10L.

Case 2

Was recommend to change the front tire to 120 then to get 110. So what you guys use for front and back.

Thanks!
