I agree... after pushing in the bike to him, on top of doing up the things I wanted them to do, they also do up some other extra stuff for me... :thumb:

bro, mind to tell us wad extras did he do for u?

:cheeky:

Sure, things that he did for me without telling him to do so includes;

1. Wire tie my handlebar grips

2. Tape up the 'weights' on the rims because he knew I'm going Penang

3. Tighten all the bolts and nuts

4. Wash and wax my bike. The bike was sent in dirty because I lazy to wash, then when I went down to collect, he was washing and waxing it for me! hehe

5. New rear brake pads. I din tell him to change, but he saw its going to finish and changed it for me.

Of cos, the long list of stuff I had wanted him to do was completed swee swee also.

I'm the type who dun mind paying slightly more for someone who is willing to use his heart on my machine. :thumb:

Hi i am looking for a front rim for the Busa. Can be used and also can anyone enlighten me as to whether which other suzuki bike front mudguard can fit to the Busa front instead of the original bike ones.

Thanks in advance! :cheeky:

indeed, a very interesting technical topic..

kaieiru :thumb:

Btw kaieiru, when do serious problems occur on a busa? Roughly how many years later or how many thousands of km after will the problem arise?

I'd just wanna make sure I get the rite things done at the rite time.

Thanks!

electrical problems will start to surface normally after 4-5years (you can tell from the de-coloration of the stock wiring and connectors),

mechanical problems depends on usage. (rubber hoses normally will start to harden after ard 3 years when exposed to the engine heat - hoses include your fuel line, coolant hoses, vacuum hoses...)

you can normally start to look out when your bike celebrates its 4th birthday.

i'm not a mechanic.. just happen to spend too much time in a bikeshop (with the boss explaining what's being done on the bike) and reads service manuals for past time.. :cheeky:

agree that it's quite essential to know abit more about the bike when we travel overseas... :thumb:

the gixxer 750 (bumblebee) mudguard should be able to be used on the busa front as they are using the same front forks... not too sure about the mounting tabs... :goodluck:
